Really good corset or waist cincher?

I'm having last-minute jitters about the way I look in my wedding dress.  The dress is beautiful..but I haven't been able to lose as much weight as I'd hoped.  = /  I'm desperately looking for a THIN but effective corset or waist cincher that won't add any more thickness to my mid-section.  Please help!

I have gained so much weight since I started living with my FI. I told myself I'd get on a diet June, then July, then thought... "I still have August"  well it's September and I' m getting married next month!!!  I started the Adkins diet 3 weeks ago. -10 as of today!!!  I was a Huge 168 lbs at my heaviest. But, today I weighed in at 158!! that was just 3 weeks. 158 is still big! But it's still less than I started.  I am not one of those die hard Adkins people.. I just took the basics and applied them to my every day eating.  No bread, rice, cereal, fruits, Candy, sugar, potatoes, pasta.. Everything else is cool.  Not to hard to do. Green salads with meats and tomatoes and all kinds of good stuff.. It's not that hard.  I was desperate and had to lose the weight. But now that I'm on it.. I really like the diet and it feels natural to be on it. I think I might just stick to it because it's not so bad. Only thing I drink as far as "Diet Sodas" is Diet Right.. that soda is sooooo goood!!!! and it's made with "Splenda" Which is the only sweetener I use now.  Ohh and no Caffeine!!  I'm just saying.. And yes, I will also go with the Spanks. NO matter if I lose 100 lbs in the next month!! LOL i think spanks just make you feel "together"

I'm happy with my Va Bien torsolette, but for serious waist reduction, a *real* corset will give the greatest results.

And sidenote on Adkins: Please be careful.  Any extreme diet like that where you're eliminating any one food group, is very, very dangerous.  Please watch for unusual bruises, and/or bruises that seem to last forever and ever.  What happens is the body goes into starvation mode, and literally begins to eat away at itself from the inside, breaking down muscle tissue.  If you find bruises like that, eat some simple carbs, like bread or juice or even just sugar.  Please be careful!!!!  (but congrats on the weight loss!)

neebelung,

I hear you on the caution. But I'm just cutting the carbs and sugars out. I was talking to my niece who lives in N.Y. She is a size 0-1 on a good day by default. She gets her perfect body thanks to her Mom. But she said she's cut out all Gluten because she and her brother also a size 0 seem to be allergic to it. I also noticed I would sneeze and have a runny nose after a heavy carb meal. We talked about how that hasn't happened. Yet when I cheated two weekends ago, my nose was like the o' Mississippi. Sorry, this blog should be on health and diet or something...

Spanks!!!! and my Dress maker is building the corset and bra into my dress. I'm having it custom made because I have terrible arms!!!!  So, in with the gut and arms!!!  (Breath in!!!)

Ah, yeah gluten allergies are a whole other matter!!  I'm glad you were able to narrow down the allergy to that specific trigger though!!!!!
