Reverse Wedding?

Would you ever consider it?  Maybe for any Vow Renewal Brides out there?

At a reverse wedding the reception is held before the ceremony instead of after.  As opposed to a traditional format, a reverse wedding is neither as structured nor as formal.  Reverse weddings could work well for a unique afternoon luncheon.

Not only does a reverse wedding lower the stress for the bride, but it does
the same for guests. For guests who may be driving from a great distance, a
reverse wedding can remove some of the stress of arriving on time. Guests who
are running late will not miss the ceremony; instead, they'll arrive during
lunch. Both the bride and guests are at ease, with time for an arrival schedule that is more relaxed.

Ok ladies....time to sound off!

i saw this on 4 weddings on TLC. it was a morning wedding, so they held a brunch reception, then had the ceremony after. of corse the "judges" (3 other brides who want to win) found any and every excuse to crap on her way of doing things, but the bride and groom were just as relaxed as you are saying! they loved their wedding. i think its a great idea for people who may have been together for a long time and just want all of their loved ones and friends to "officially" see them as husband and wife with out the stiffness of a formal affair!

--i thought this post was going to be about doing things out of order, and i got excited because we had a baby, then moved in together, and are now getting married. haha i love hearing about people in the same boat as me! but this is a good topic as well! ill be interested to hear other peoples take on it.

I never heard of this either, but I would definitely consider it for a vow renewal.

I think it is an awesome idea! Especially for budget conscious brides, this is a great way to get those off days, and off peak hours. :) sounds like fun to me!
