Sand Ceremony Frames - Ideas?

Well, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have to opt for a Sand Ceremony.

I know where to get the sand and some vases, but I'm curious about the frames that I've seen people use. One bride mentioned that they're ceremony frame was the Umbra Shadow Box like frame from Target. However, when I go there and on their site, I'm not really finding what they used.

How does it work? And is there like a little trap door that allows the sound to pour in so it'll be "behind" the photo of the two of us? I'll try looking for some examples if you're unsure of what I'm talking about.

If anyone knows where I can find them, I'd be much obliged!

Let me know what you find out. We would also like to do this but are not sure how to.

A sand ceremony is sometimes used in place of an unity candle. You and your husband both pour sand from 2 different containers into one container to symbolize your unity.

That's okay, it's a new thing for brides. I think Lori did one, no?

Here's a link to some background:

Yay! I got it all figured out!

I read about the details on the Knot Sand Ceremony Bio page, and then I found a Knottie Bio MiahAndMe, who had AMAZING details about how it works and more about the frame. The frame is out of stock at Target, and so, I found one on Amazon!

It normally takes up to 5 weeks to get it, but someone was selling one for $19.97 so I purchased that and rushed delivery. Yay!

Thanks, everyone!
