Save on Crafts vs. Blooms and Branches for Manzanita Branches

Which company is better to order manzanita branches in terms of pricing, customer service, delivery, etc.?  If there are better companies, please also suggest!

Thanks in Advance!!

I personally love save-on-crafts. I ordered natural touch flowers from them to use for my bouquets and also a few other items (paper lanterns, vase gems, etc.) and everything came in promptly and the service was good.

I ordered 20 from ebay - the premium branches - 4 to a box - It cost me $250.00 shipped to my house in Virginia, which is the best price I could find after hunting for months on various boards and everything I could possibly find on them.  Was more than pleased with the communication, the price and the product.  Also found curly willow locally and a lady let me have all I wanted as she had a huge tree and it was way back in her back yard, but they are hard to find.

Have a mock up but wedding not until January 30, 2010.  Also for vase filler the cracked ice crystals are amazing.  End up feeling like Jello, then when they become dehydrated again you can reuse them over and over.  They take up very little room, you can put lights in it, you can use food coloring in it and wash it out afterwards and its the cheapest filler!  1 tablespoon fills my 18" tall 4" square vase.

This is set up in my basement and the lights had gone out on the first picture and I'm still working on the color in the vase to try to get that right....  The branches, both manzanita and curly willow, have been spray painted silver, then glittered with german glass glitter, regular glitter, sequins, bugle beads.  Crystals purchased mostly from ebay.  Ornaments purchased at various places.  Also found that I can use other icicles and ornaments, even crocheted snowflakes, spray them with glue and roll them in glitter and they are amazing!

I ordered 20 from photo 1191156-2 This one doesn't have all its crystals... or color in the cracked ice

I ordered 20 from photo 1191156-3 This one doesn't have lights in the vase and the color isn't right in the cracked ice.

The little favor box chair sits in the champagne toast glass and reads:  "These wedding memories will become a treasure and having you here is such a pleasure.  Names of bride and groom and wedding date."

ohhh gorgeous manzanitas!

we ended up doing curly willow and iced branches w/ our florist. it was just expensive to do manzanita and the one i ordered from bloomsandbranches wasnt that pretty to me. plus since our wedding was out of town i didnt want all that stuff stuck at my parents house so that made more sense.

Currently having the same issue with that decision.

My florist claims that the Manzanita Branches (Sandblasted) are very expensive to ship on the Save on Crafts site. However, i looked on Blooms and Branches and saw that there were crates available with ~30 branches per crate and the freight charge was minimal. i think we might go with that option.

So, if it is as it seems, we will be going with the Blooms and Branches purchase.

I am going to get 2 branches per table ~18-24" and i will need 12 tables worth of branches. (I am doing every other table)

Hope that helps

I ordered samples (natural and sandblasted sample pack) from Blooms and Branches and they were awesome. I'm going with the natural, since I may paint them. The cases of branches include shipping which is good, I contacted them to find out the box size and it's huge but they have discounts with FedEx so the shipping is very reasonable for the quantity.

Hope this information is helpful, got to save where you can!
