Second marriage

This is my second wedding. His first. I have 3 young kids. My first wedding was a flop. We are looking at Mexico with karisma resorts.

Now any tips or hints?

i have never been there, but photography is something really important to me.  when you get married you spend a lot of time with the photographer.  it is always best to know you like their work and that you get along well with them.  plus you know you will speak the same language.  i have heard horror stories of couples using the resorts photographer and having horrible pictures and not understanding anything he said cause he didnt speak english.  i have also heard wonderful things.  i just think it is better to be safe and bring your own photographer.

I have been to many of the resorts in Mexico, and I would say prior communication is key. It is pretty rare now not to be able to find staf that are bilingual, and if needed someone could help you by interpreting your wishes to the photographer and other wedding staff.

The resorts tend to be very safe, but I would also ensure that you look up the area you are planning on being in, and asking that guests try to stick to the big resorts. In town can be very different from the big ones.

Many places are great at answering questions, I would totally email them and see what they have to say! :) Have fun!
