yeah really! Those prices are crazy good.  Here's mine so far:

*Ceremony Venue comes with DOC - $600.  If we scrap the DOC, the price goes down to $300 if we bring our own.  I'm thinking we might have to, because the DOC that's included doesn't do a whole lot...just the ceremony portion.

*Reception - $27pp for 37 people, including tax, service charge, and gratuity - around $1100

*Wine - $300 right now, but that is only for 10 bottles of wine...this will probably go up. I am going to ask if I can bring my own in and see what the corkage fee is. (its in a hotel)

*Dress - $175 (parents paid for...it was custom made)

*Shoes - a friend gave to me for free from her company's shoe line.

*Photog - $450 (3 hours)

*Video - $400 (3 hours)

*Flowers - $500 (bridal bouquet, 1 MOH bouquet, 5 bouts, 3 corsages and floral swag for our gazebo)

*Invites will be DIY - cost TBD

*Centerpieces will be DIY - also TBD

*Cupcakes - my mom will make who is a pastry chef.

We are only spending $1500. I only have 3 bm's including my MOH. For gifts i DIY bridal pary t-shirts. I bought 3 Miley Cyrus Tanks from WM for $4 each and then bought Iron Ons for $1 each. Plus I went to the dollar tree and got them some fake nails and lip gloss. LOVE that store!!!

We are only spending photo 1725538-1

For music we are buying an ipod and borrowing a friends sound system. FIs aunt used to DJ in Vegas so she will be out DJ! Flowers and everything flower related will be taken care of by FIs family. His dad is the manager of Mears, a wholesale florist. So he gets everything like 80% off, plus lots of favors from other florists. I got my Wedding Dress, Veil, earrings, and bracelett from Davids Bridal all for $504. For photography we are having a friend from school who is in photography school right now take our pictures. She is doing the wedding, B-pics, and TTD for $250 plus a cd of edited pics. FIs mom is paying for tuxes. Our cake was $190 for 3 tiers for 82 people. FI's mom wants to invite more people and if so, she has agreed to pay for more cake. I got my ring from WM for $8 and FIs from ebay for $15. We are doing postcard invitations from Vista Print. 100 for free plus $6 shipping. And about $25 for stamps since we will hand deliver most of them. The ceremony fees are only $15 to rent the nature park we want for 6 hours. Food we are spending around $100. For the reception we are having at FIs grandparents AMAZING house. We are spending about $100 on candles and another $100 on decorations. I'm doing my own hair. Just buying a new curling iron for $50. We are getting matching Purple converse for $50. And rentals around $50 for everything we will rent.

My husband just wrote about our wedding budget and how we did everything on the cheap (under $4,000). It turned out beautifully and we had a blast! Check it out here: (link to budget is toward the end):

Budget:  $3000

Dress and accessories:  I purchased mine from dhgate.com through seller fionavogue; it was custom-made and the dress + shipping was $150.00.  Though it fits great, the elastic in one of the sleeves needs to be replaced, but there's a woman in my church who does alterations for a formal wear shop and has offered to do mine for free as her wedding gift to me.  A colleague is starting a jewelry business and is doing a necklace and earring set for $15.  For my hair, I'm purchasing a headband that will run anywhere from $21-$35 from http://www.weddingfactorydirect.com

Bridesmaids:  I have three attendants and I've told them that they can choose and buy their own dress, any length, any pastel color.  I purchased necklace and earring sets from my colleague for a total of $45 as my gifts to them.

Flowers:  I'm using silk hydrangea bouquets; we aren't using boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen.  Don't know about corsages or boutonnieres for family members.

Cake:  Some friends of ours are making my cake as their gift to me--all I have to purchase are the accessories.  My FH's grandmother is baking the groom's cake.

Stationery:  My MOH (and future sister-in-law) is making our invitations and thank you cards as part of her gift to us.  We're making save the dates through http://www.zazzle.com (75 of them for $61.00!).  Since many of our guests are local, we're hand-delivering most, which will save on postage.

Venue:  We're holding our ceremony and reception at our church; it requires a $100 deposit, but we can get it all back.  We're going through a woman in the church who has wedding stuff for rent, and our reception is going to be in the fellowship room.  It's a small room and it will be a small afternoon reception (only serving cake, nuts, mints, punch, and coffee) with chairs around the room for those who want to sit.  No dancing (as it's not allowed), so we can get away with the iPod playlist.  We're slightly splurging on the guestbook--we're using a guest book box (like this:  http://www.etsy.com/listing/66632789/turquoise-glam-girl-guest-book-box ), but it will also serve as an address box, which is going to be nice.

Favors:  In lieu of favors, we're donating money to a local organization that provides school-age homeless children a backpack filled with food for the weekends.  We will have a small display explaining the ministry.

Honeymoon: If my FH can get the time off, we are leaving after church Sunday morning and driving about 5 hours to his hometown where we will stay in an adorable B&B for the evening ( http://www.woldert-spence.com ) and then go on to Arkansas where his sister and brother-in-law have a cabin.

Here's my breakdown..Wedding is October 8th, on a Saturday, at 5pm. We are having a full meal AND alcohol, and a guest list of around 80ish! The theme is rustic/country/simple/chic.  Can I do this for less than $5,000?!??!!  Heck yes!  I am an excellent online shopper. I google search coupon codes for EVERYTHING!

(Can't post pics right now, I'm at work :/)

  • Ceremony venue- FREE- mom's front yard, very rustic

  • Reception venue- FREE- mom's barn. There is a pretty wooden fence and horses around it.

  • Invitations-$150- Vistaprint. 100 invites, rsvps and than you's. I searched coupon codes AND got them on sale.

  • Photography- $350- found an AMAZING photographer that was desperate for business in a big town close by that has a LOT of competition lol  free e-pics, 700-900 pics on wedding day, full coverage of ceremony and reception, all pics edited and put on cd and rights to them. (she did a GREAT job on our e-pics already) and for a little extra, she will bring someone to do pics at our DIY photobooth and put all of them on cd

  • Dress- $261- ebay- David's Bridal 9V9743- Still in stores and priced at $550

  • Jewelry- $160-splurged lol  BEAUTIFUL Swarovski crystal and pearl necklace and earrings from LuLuSplendor on etsy

  • Bouquets- $360-another huge splurge lol from The Artsy Butterfly on etsy. handmade fabric flowers..omg you must look them up!

  • Shoes-$23 for 2 pairs-payless.com with buy one get one 1/2 off and a google searched coupon code for another 15% off.

  • Tables/chairs rentals- $350- more than I planned but I didn't feel like driving over an hour the day before the wedding to pick them up. :/ We are using the same chairs for ceremony and reception since it is at the same venue, just have some guys pick them up and move them.

  • Linens for 8- 5' rounds, 8-4' rounds, 3- 8' banquets, 80 chair covers- about $300- I bought used linens from weddingbee and projectwedding brides.

  • 80 burlap chair sashes, 20" wide burlap runners for ALL tables, and 50' burlap aisle runner- $180 for material, $12 for thread, and free labor because I made them myself. :D

  • Food- $475- country buffet catering for 80 people

  • Cakes- my dad is gifting this to us, my step-aunt does wedding cakes and is going to give him a great price. main cake- 3 tiers white fondant with scrolls on the sides and covered in daisies, groom's cake-2 tiered marvel comic themed cake. It's hella cute. see below for inspiration. Don't rememebr where they came from to credit but I google searched them.

  • Here s my breakdown photo 3035698-1Here s my breakdown photo 3035698-2

  • Alsohol-I'm alotting $300- 2 signature cocktails and a keg of beer.

  • Serveware-$190- 100 plates from Dollartree and 90 Mason jar mugs from fillmorecontainer.com (I didn't like the caterer's dishes lol)

  • Chargers-$100- probably didn't NEED these but I WANTED them!!!  100 tree slices to use as chargers. Yeah..$1 each. ;) I know a guy who knows a guy

  • Reception centerpieces- about $200- mason jars wrapped in twine, wine bottles wrapped in twine, with silk flowers (afloral.com)

  • Reception lighting- $125- tons of paper lanterns and light strings from an online place that was having a sale..can't rememebr where though :(

  • Here s my breakdown photo 3035698-3

  • Favors- $130- 100 mason jar salt and pepper shakers, filled with sunflower seeds, and a ribbon tied around the top. Totally unique and fitted to my theme! (also from fillmorecontainer.com- GREAT prices!!!)

  • Ceremony decor-about $215-10 fabric pomanders, 1 fabric arch swag to match, (they were a little pricey, handmade from a girl on weddingbee, but I'm not 100% in love with the swag) 10 wrought iron shephard hooks(bought), wrought iron arch(rental)

  • lots of miscellanous DIY stuff- my hair flower, tears of joy packetsm, photobooth props, photobooth itself- plywood backdrop with a barn door painted on it by me

This is most of the stuff that I can remember. I have every little cent written down in a ledger so I can see how much my wedding ends up costing lol Last time I checked I was WAY under budget! :D
