Short or long BM dresses?? NEED ADVICE!!

good morning y'all!!!

soooo i feel like i'm in a rut! i feel like its so early to make decisions on the BM dresses...... wedding is 11/5/11... but since i entered the moonlight contest, i won free 5 BM dresses!!! i have to decide on the dresses by the end of this month pretty much...

my dilemma:

i want to have a romantic feel to the girl's dresses. so i'm thinking chamuese/satin/silk kind of fabrics and having them long. but thing is, the manufacture doesnt do a lot of dresses in these fabrics... its mainly poly chiffon! so i asked if i can change fabrics, which they are happy to do but will charge $50 more on each dress.

but the thing now is that my job security is pretty unstable now! :( other day they said that we are only safe for a year! so i'm scared to proceed more with the wedding and started to think more about doing a destination wedding.

so if i decide to go that route, then things change with the BM dresses! i could go with short poly chiffon dresses. and i've been looking and i actually like the short poly chiffon dresses better! they're really cute! but now, see the thing is i still dont know what to do! whether i want to do a destination wedding or not! so now i'm stuck on what to decide on my BM dresses... AHh!! if i STICK with the short poly chiffon dresses, i wouldnt have to pay more money... but if i go with the long dresses i'll have to pay extra money..

but i'm TRYING to save money where i can.... ya feel me on this? wow i just never knew these things can put a big strain on you!!! what should i do? do you girls think that if i just go with the short poly chiffon, it'll still have that romantic feel? i think its more on the casual/beachy side... or am i crazy?! *sigh*... someone help...!

I would definitely go with the longer dress... check out my bio for mine... when I think of short tea length, knee length dresses I think of sporty. Unless you went with cocktail length, long is the way to go when creating a romantic atmosphere!

I say go long, you can always alter to short if you do the desitnation wedding, you can't go from short to long.

My wedding is Nov. 18 and I'm the opposite...I really want to do short dresses (knee length) but some of my girls want long.  I hope my wedding is just as romantic as anyone elses...but at the same time our wedding isn't super formal.  And it's in FL so it's still rather warm here in Nov.
