Show me a picture of how you bustled your ADORAE gown. Was it a French Bustle, 5/9 point bustle....?
LOL! Faith, I was joking! Please don't feel bad! That's not how my actual bustle looked. The tailor was just showing me some examples of what she could have done. You can actually see my bustle at the end of our highlight video here.
Lol... ok good haha!!
Hi everyone, Just joined the group. Sorry I have to post twice before I post images...
I was looking for bustle pictures before my first fitting to make the best choice but unfortunately didn't find this board in time! Here's my contribution for future adorae brides. This is just pinned. I'll send again after the next fitting. I hope the top layer is more of a straight line in the end. :)
Omg Tin2ca!!! That is exactly what I was waiting for... something that looked wow, just like the dress! I am in love!!! Can you tell me what kind of bustle it is?!
I love that bustle too!
Not the best shots, but they're the best I have.
I have my final fitting on Thursday and will post pics!
Ok, my final fitting was yesterday and she's now home with me! I love the bustle. 9 points with the highest point being so high up over my butt, I have to yank the dress over my hips to button that point. I love that this bustle makes the dress look like it never had a train...it looks like that's just the way the dress was made. Plus, it is soooo easy to walk in after it's bustled!! Here are some pics...
I just went in for my first fitting last night. My seamstress ended up doing a bustle that is a bit different from most other adorae bustles posted on here. She is putting a button on both sides of the dress and bringing the fabric up to either side. Then, since the train is so long, she is bringing the remaining fabric up under the bottom, sort of a ballroom bustle.
Hi! I'm resending my bustle picture after the last fitting since the last was pinned in place and this looks much cleaner. I'm not sure what it's called but I think it has 8 ties under the dress and swoops to the side. I love this bustle! And I hope this helps other adorae brides because I had a hard time figuring out one I liked.
