Simple Wedding Bands

Anyone else have a hard time coping with the fact that you have to get a band with no diamonds or embellishments of any kind? We bought our bands today, and while I am okay with what I chose, I still wish that I could have something shinier.

Well, you could have something with diamonds or embellishments to wear after the ceremony--it's only for the ceremony itself it has to be plain.  Some people borrow or buy a simple band to use for the ceremony, but then have a much more ornate one thereafter.

Yea, that's what everyone kept saying. But I wouldn't want to wear a ring just because it's prettier - the fact is that it has no meaning or value.

I actually like the plainer bands more than the shiny ones! You could wear your wedding band on one hand and your e-ring on the other. Perhaps when you have your first child, or first anniversary or something, DH could give you a shiny band? That way you will keep the meaning of your wedding band, but you also get the bling?

Wedding, Ceremony, Gold, Silver, JewelryWedding, Ceremony, Gold, Silver, Jewelryi did a search for jewish wedding jewelry and came up with a few jewelers in Isreal that will ship anywhere.  These are my favorite bands and are unisex. Most of these jewelers will sell the wedding bands in gold and silver.  Only one had them in platinum.  I will try to find the sites and post them later.
