You're evil;-) Now I'm addicted to that one too. And from that site, I found toastandtables.blogspot.com for even more(not that I needed it) inspiration.

I agree jackieg. Mine FI says the same thing:-)

it's amazing what you think you can do without before you start the actual planning...we had some GRAND ideas about "we don't need this" and "we don't care about that" but all that went to crap the minute the actual planning started!

Oh, I know what you mean. Something does happen to you once you start planning your own wedding. I mean, I am NOT a girly-girl at all and now I'm looking at flowers and linens and dresses and booked a makeup/hair person for an obscene amount of money;-) My FI asks me what I did with his old girlfriend 'cause he's never seen me like this. I tell him it's all HIS fault I'm this way now;-)

Aye yay yay. Weddings!

paddy....Fi just asked me a dinner when he gets a "break" from wedding talk...he said he's feeling overloaded....and our wedding isn't even until April 09...i said we just have to get a few more things finalized...then he can have his break during football season....which he thought was a GREAT idea :)

Honey, I don't mean to impose, but if your man is saying things like that, GET OFF THE COMPUTER AND PAY ATTENTION TO HIM!!! Go away for the weekend. "stay in" for the weekend. I feel like wedding planning often creates a divide between the man and the woman and I think that we should do everything we can to avoid that. I know (from my own current experience) that it is inevitable that we girls will be stuck planning the majority (or entirety) of our weddings because, let's face it, if we left it up to them, we would get married without music, the guys would be in flip-flops and t-shirts and the reception would be at Rudy's Sport's Bar.

The reason we are on this site is the amazing man we said yes to (most likely the one sitting on the couch watching Deadliest Catch re-runs right now). Who cares if our invites don't match the sticker on the candy bags? Go spend time with the hot piece you get to call your husband in a short time.

Also, while I am on this topic, don't accuse him of not wanting to marry you. Unless you are marrying the most passive person ever, if he didn't want to marry you, he wouldn't have asked. He loves you. He thinks you are one fine piece of ass. Be nice to him. Just because he doesn't care if the personalized ribbon says "June 17, 2008" or "7/17/2008" doesn't mean he doesn't care. Ok, I am going to go back to my oh-so-handsome man who is sitting on the couch watching Deadliest Catch re-runs. Love you all, don't overload your man, it isn't worth it.

Jackieg- Well I applaud you for starting early. I did that and now that it's coming down to the wire(3 months), I feel a little less stressed. My only issue is my FI is a big procrastinator. I have to practically walk him through everything(and he's been married before so it's not like he can claim he doens't know what has to happen). It's been really stressful so all I can say is plan ahead so you won't be as stressed closer to your wedding date.
