Sleep is for the birds...
I have horrible insomnia.
1. due to waking up and having to pee- then I can't go back to sleep, and then I get hungry...and if I don't eat then I start getting nauseous.
2. I work night shift so I flip. I basically am awake a night for a week and then I flip back and then sleep at night for a week.
3. So my flipping nights and days doesn't help and peeing--and it being 2am my body says time to be awake!
4. I am tired all day and so I don't nap so I can sleep at night, but that clearly isn't working.
I have been taking 25mg benadryl for the last week to sleep- and even that's really not cutting it since I still wake up to pee. I don't want to become dependent on benadryl to sleep either.
I didn't ever have the problems of switching back and forth before pregnancy, I can usually sleep through anything- anywhere. I am just so tired. :(
Anyone else up all night or have any other cures?!
