I am going to the make-up artist next month. I am wearing a platinum dress so it has a slight sage undertone to it and I was thinking silver and sage smokey eye with brown eyeliner. I have Hazel eyes witha grey ring, so these colors would work well on me.
I am keeping my lips soft and natural because I don't want to leave lipstick on him after the vows.
We will see what the artist has to say. I am photographing the look as well as having it numbered on a sketch.
My make-up will look like this
Although red lips look really good... but depending upon theme and your wedding dress.
Here are 2 non red make up options,
My photographer told me to go a bit heavier with the makeup than I normally would, it shows much better for pictures. That said, always go light with foundation, less actually covers better!
I preferred a natural look all around except I wanted my eyes to pop, I love what my makeup artist came up with:
I love your eyes SDonisi They are amazing. What brand and colors of makup did you ise?
Are you considered Cool skin tones or warm? I am cool was a summer, but now am changing to wonter as I get older.
I may be dating myself using the season color comments, but this is how we knew what to and not to wear in the 1980's! As a pre-teen and teen in this later era I was considered fashion forward to know what those meant. And have a complete style that worked for me. Heart shaped or Boat style neck lines were optimal for my eyes and curves. LOL
I believe I have a warmer skin tone, but I don't really know too much about that! And I have no clue what brand of eye makeup they used, it was whatever they had in the salon, sorry I can't be of more help there! Isn't that terrible, that I don't even know? Lol, I am just not that up on things like that! I wear very little makeup generally.
I also went with the bold eye. I loved it! She gave me almost a nude lip gloss, which was nice, but I think my lips could have used a little big more color. But overall I loved my makeup!!
This ^ All of that right there. The glow, the birdcage veil, the hair.
I did my own for my big day. I detailed all of the products I used and the five trials I went through to get just the look I wanted in my bio.
