Something old, something new...

Hey gals, I am trying to figure out what to use for a "something borrowed" item for our wedding..

What are you guys using for the traditional saying of "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue"?

Old -  My husband's grandmother passed away a few months before the wedding.  I had my florist wrap her lace handkerchief around the bouquet.  (Beatie - I'm sure your florist will do this but just in case make sure she wraps it with ribbon first to protect the lace)

new - earrings, bracelet, shoes

borrowed - i completely forgot about this!

blue - the  blue stitching in the custom dress label

Old = a brooch that belonged to my great-grandmother

New = dress, shoes

Borrowed = TBD (probably something super-dorky I'd imagine...)

Blue = I'm putting our initials on the soles of my shoes in little blue rhinestones ('borrowed' idea from soontobemiller - maybe that will be my something borrowed LOL), plus my garter has a little blue heart sewn to the back of it, and I'll probably pick up a pair of cutsie undies too.

AND don't forget the Lucky Sixpence (or penny) in your shoe!!!  :)

Old- the diamond earrings I wear in my second ear hole, made from diamonds of my FMIL's ring

New- dress, shoes, jewelry, etc.

Borrowed- don't know yet

Blue- sapphire ring, my parents got it for my 16th birthday, it was too small to wear, FI just reset the stones in a new ring

Penny in the shoe- I don't know I can do this, I am wearing flat sandals...
