Song for Seating of the mothers

I really like the song "I Will Be Here" by Steven Curtis Chapman.  Here are the lyrics.  Do you think it would be appropriate for seating of the mothers?

Lyrics:

Tomorrow morning if you wake up
And the sun does not appear,
I will be here.

If in the dark we lose sight of love,
Hold my hand and have no fear,
Cause I will be here.

CHORUS
I will be here when you feel like being quiet;
When you need to speak your mind, I will listen.
And I will be here when the laughter turns to crying;
Through the winning, losing, and trying, well be together,
Cause I will be here.

Tomorrow morning if you wake up
And the future is unclear,
I will be here.

As sure as seasons are made for change,
Our lifetimes are made for years,
So I will be here.

CHORUS
I will be here, so you can cry on my shoulder;
When the mirror tells us were older, I will hold you.
And I will be here to watch you grow in beauty,
And tell you all the things you are to me;
I will be here.

I will be true to the promise I have made,
To you and to the One who gave you to me.

As sure as seasons are made for change,
Our lifetimes are made for years,
So I, I will be here.
We'll be together and i will be here.

It seems long, I'm not sure if you'll need an entire song? Unless of course you're planning on seating two mothers and four grandmothers.

I love the lyrics though, no question there!

I love it!   And if its perfect to you ...than use it ... it makes even the seating of the moms personal ...

I never thought about how long it was.  4 minutes probably will be too long.  I can't find anything.  This stinkin music is killing me!! :D

You will never find a song that is exactly the right amount of time - you dont even know until it happens how long it will take to seat them until the day of ....choose whatever song you like ...sont worry about length ..... you can have it faded out as soon as they are seated ....

:)  .... your welcome ..... seriously though you should have the song you envision no matter how much of it plays .... it will mean so much more to you later ...  I drove myself nuts "timing"  it so I walked out at a certain point during my processional ..... and when the day came ....I totally got anxious and forgot all about waiting for my musical "moment"  ...  its so funny all the things you agonize over leading up to the wedding that you never give a thought to the day of :)

This song really is beautiful and has such a message behind it - - it is what my DD and SIL had played during their unity candle lighting in the ceremony.

 i have never thought of that for the mothers, but it is perfect for that.  my brother has sung that song several times at weddings.  it may be a little long, but if you use the same song to seat grandparents and the moms it should be ok.  if the church is huge it may be ok for just the moms.  or just let the song finish before you do anything else.  i love that song
