SPIN OFF: RSVPs

hey Ladies, what do you think of email RSVPs rather than the guests sending a physical one? I am thinking of setting up an email account just for the purpose fo RSVP-ing and responding to guests via email instead of calling if there are any issues (i can see the pain now lol). curious of your thuoghts.. do you know anyone that has done this?

I actually received an invitation for a wedding a few weeks ago that had an email address set up for RSVPs rather than a physical one. Definitely a cheaper way to do it (no stamps) and eliminates the blank (who sent this back with no name and is attending my wedding!!!") cards that EVERYONE gets a few of lol I personally loved♥ getting my RSVP cards back in the mail (snail mail that wasn't bills yeah!!!), but it really is up to the individual. Don't forget the people that don't have email access though - some grandparents or the anti computer folk out there. Maybe a few hard copies might be a good idea :)

*waves* I just RSVP'd via a wedding website.  My BM created a website here through PW and has all of her guests RSVP'ing through there.  It's actually quite easy too.  She did have a few people who are not that computer savvy and those people just called her to RSVP.

I did the mail-RSVP invites. Worked out fine for me. But then again, it wasnt so much of an issue to have a serious-head-count just a rough estimate.
