Spray Tanner Vs Self Tanner help!

Ladies, wedding is just over 2 weeks away!

And I have nasty tan lines....and bruises from falling down half a flight of stairs! (long story lol Thankfully no broken bones for the wedding!)

I want to try a spray tan or airbrush tan. But we only have a few salons in my area (aka in the whole STATE of Maine) that do spray tan booths, and even less that do Airbrushing.

Any advice? Which brand have you used before and LOVED?

OR - Do you have any self tanner lotions/sprays that you LOVE?!

Any advice would be GREAT!

Oh my! Two weekso away....how exciting!!! As for spray tanning...I think you want to start ASAP! YOu don't want any last minute streaks or crazy skin color. I personally would leave it to the pros for that close to the date, but if you really want to do yourself, I don't know! I don't have any self tanner experience. Sorry, try checking google for other random posts about or magazine articles about best self tanners, good luck!

Congratulations on your wedding.  I bet you are super excited.  I have tried a few different spray tans and unfortunately haven't had much luck with them not streaking or looking orange.

Some self tanner's that I have tried are the Jergen's line which is pretty good.

Sally Hansen's airbursh legs is awesome but it does come off on your clothing a little.

I have never tried the airbrush spray tans.  I hear they are pretty good.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

We have done alot of spray tanning because my daughters competed in pageants for years. We prefer the spray tanning. I would recommend exfoiliating before you go and have it done at least 48 hours in advance.

Sorry loves! I've been SO busy with work & stuff (a rant post may be coming soon! haha!)

I ended up doing a bunch of research (read way too much! lol) and decided to go with some sort of self-tanner first and then seeing how my bruises & tan lines looked after that! And buzzing to Ulta one night found a coupon for 3.50 off $10 and a self tanning mitt for $10...and underneath that low & behold a tiny travel size bottle of Norvell Medium/dark mousse (youtube said mousse is the way to go, second by sprays but WITH the mitt!) and the bottle was $3.50! ha!

So far, so good! And I'm pretty pale...with my arms and chest/back super tan and my legs & stomach like glow in the dark!  I just put a full layer on last night and I'm "my tan" color all over instead of just my poor arms! Woohoo!

I highly recommend the Norvell stuff because that's what most salons use as a spray tanning solution anyway. And so far, I ain't orange or streaky! And it cost $10 instead of $45! Eventually I'll try a spray tan because I'm just too lazy to use self-tanners all the time though ;)
