I have started planning already.  I got my invitations (even my dress!) and my colors.  That's about it though.  I have taken a TON of pictures from online and even created a wedding book that I store handwritten ideas and what not in.  I'm excited but it's difficult because it is a ways away.  Can't keep me from dreaming though, right? :)

HECK YES!  I've been planning for the last two years at least, despite we weren't engaged :p.

We've purchased our invites got them for a SUPER DEAL $0.74 / invite and that includes the envelope, invite, accent ribbon, rsvp card and its envelope!  We are going to add a blue border to them so that may up the cost a little.

Pretty sure have the dress picked out, I've only ever tried on one, loved it and its definatly amazing.  Saw it when I was shopping for a bridesmaid dress for a wedding I was in, had to try it on, and fell in love! we will see what happens though when the time comes to do actual dress shopping.

We pretty much know what we want but PW has also given me alot of ideas!

Wow... B&S that great... invites for $0.74, where did you find such a deal?

Are you afraid that you will change your mind later?

Booked the ceremony site and reception back in May to lock in 09 prices. My ceremony site raised their price by $400 this July, so I'm happy to have booked it before the new rate.

Yes, we pretty much have the venue picked out already and have went to go see it, but we will still look at at least 2 more just to be sure.

I have went dress shopping and been disappointed at both shops already.  I want to go look thru the racks myself, not have a BC pick them out for me!  I'll save the dress shopping for another year though so I have a more sound idea of what I want.

I just bought my vases for the centerpieces which are sitting in my livingroom.  The other half I am waiting for their arrival on my doorstep from the FEDEX guy any day now!  I started ordering and shopping once I knew what our color scheme was going to be.  I am soooo excited, can you tell? And I got 2 years to go! LOL

Well the venue, videographer, photographer, transporation has been booked. I am looking at idea and as one bride said a lot of diy projects, so I will be starting on that. I am going to be looking for flowergirl dresses soon, but it is kinda hard cause they will be my twin daughters and they are 2 so I will not purchase them this early. Kids grow like weeds. I have started looking for the bridesmaid dresses and the cake. I had all of the above accomplished within a week of the engagement. LOL

I always say its better to get as much as done as soon as possible because if you are a procrastinator (as I am) you will wait to the very last minute to do things!  I am currently beading my glass candle holders.  6 down, about 70 more to go!  LOL

We've got the reception and ceremony site booked, linens and china, photographer and I have ideas of what our flowers will be.  I have a appointment in december... taking a trip out to NY to go to Kleinfield to pick out what hopefully I think is "the perfect dress".  In the process of checking out wedding planners/coordinators... it seems so far away yet there are so many details that I want, and want to make sure EVERYTHING is perfect! :)

Hey JessandShan  got my invites from Michaels when they were on sale and then used another coupon.  Took them down from $54.99 / 40 to $29.99/40.  Not worried about changing my mind because I really hum and haw over things before I make a decision so once its made.  That's it!  I often waver a little but I just remind myself I already made a choice!

OH!  We also JUST booked our reception Venue!  Yah! ^_^

I have the venue, videographer, photographer, transportation booked and chaircovers ordered. They venue wanted $5 a chaircover and I found a place to get them for $1.50. Yes... I have started looking at dresses and have bought some champgne glass from the Goodwill 6 for $5. I will diy them for the bridesmaids. I was thinking about doing beer glasses for the groomsmen. I have brainstormed some ideas.

Well I've pretty much planned two wedding since May of this year.  I planned a traditinal wedding which just wasn't going to work so now I've planned a DW.  We are heading to PR in May to see the venue and place a deposit.  We've hired a wedding planner and I pretty much have all my ideas finalized for what I want in terms of decor.

Now I'm in the process of purchasing various items from brides.  This is my best way to cut costs.
