so he got fired/laid off beginning of july. and it was over a bad decision, but people still got paid regardless. the bad decision was that payroll runs from monday to sunday. and well memorial day was on a monday. and pay roll was on a tuesday, so he made the decision to do the prior week payroll from monday to sunday, and put wait til the following week to do memorial day (monday) to sunday. Well apparently he was supposed to do memorial day's pay day with the prior week, which makes no sense.
Well, he had to do an interview with unemployment and then they had to talk with the company, we just got the letter yesterday that he was denied.
he's going to appeal. he wasn't trained in payroll or anything like that, it was literally one of those learn as he went jobs. it was like they set him up to fail! aghh! i want to cry so bad, how the hell are we gonna pay our bills on one income?! I don't make enough to pay our bills! we needed that unemployment to cover the rest!
