Sweetheart Table Decoration Ideas?

We are going to do a Sweethearts table at my wedding, and I was thinking of some small candles and rose petals, but should we do anything else? Something more dramatic or prettier?

Thanks

We are having one too, I think we are not going to do much, I know my bouquet will be there and our chair signs but I don't think we are doing anything else. I think you can do whatever you want, and I don't think it has to be more dramatic or anything unless you want it to be. HTH!

My florist used cylinder candle holders, rose petals and some dahlias and it looked great!

Re-use, re-use, re-use!  I moved the decorations from my gazebo and put them on the front of my sweetheart table.  That way, it was free and was one less thing to worry about!

I agree with pinkgerbers...we reused a lot!  Some of the flowers on the sweetheart table were from the ceremony, my arch decor was placed on the cake table, and left over petals from the aisle were scattered on the memorial table.  Reuse whatever you can...it saves you bucks!!

Thanks ladies....those are some great ideas.  And I think I will try to re-use, I guess I didn't realize how much I would have to re-use. Thanks!

WHen you reused who did the moving of the florals from ceremony to reception? I have a few I would love to do this with, but am wondering how it worked for your wedding? Did a doc move them for you? and did you have it planned out before hand where they would be moving them?

I did have it planned out ahead of time and used a DOC.  She actually caught a few things that could be moved that I didn't think of, but it was pretty much all planned. The venue took down and moved the greenery from the gazebo.  However, my DOC had to stick all of the flowers back in.

my florist stayed and moved the flowers for me (i didn't have a DOC).  i had to pay a small extra fee for that but it was worth it to me! :)
