I love that image.
I love pictures of old people together. One of my favorite wedding picture is the one of my grand-parents holding end while we were saying our vows:
I love this!
I saw this post a while ago on fb with a pic of an elderly pair. I love it and it is so true!!!
Repair rather than throw it away....
An elderly couple is asked how they have managed to stay together so long.-> "We were born in a time when we repaired things instead of throwing them away."
That is sound advice. Sometimes I think people get so caught up in the wedding, they forget about the marriage.
Awww Jan I love this! That's going to be me and Cale!
i loveeeee pictures of older couples like this!! it always makes me so sad, in a happy way. if that even makes sence.
That is so precious and ditto Tressy, this is how my husband and I will be.
I love these images! (I know exactly what you mean Kelly!!)
GermanBride2 This is why Mark and I are renewing our vows. We have built up torn down repaired and rebuilt.
I know some of you will be lucky enough to not experience real problems and I thank the Lord for those who are blessed, but for those of us who have not had it as easy and many battles in a marriage deciding to work through them and build up again stronger than before a vow renewal is a great way to begin again and celebrate that triumph.
Mark and I are enetering the next phase of our lives together and these vows actually mean more to me because we don't have to stay together for the children, or for financial reasons, but because we really do love each other that much. Sappy I know.
Love love love<3 Warms my heart!
I love that. It reminds me of this sweet picture of my grandparents last year while he was in the nursing home with Alzheimers. They were married just shy of 67 years when he passed away in January. <3
Laura thanks for sharing this beautiful pic with us. 67 years is so unbelievable but I got tears in my eyes when I read the story. The pic is so full of love and happiness. And yes Ido, the Vow renewal is the best way to show the love to your husband!!!
OMG Laura, I love this photo it reminds me of my parents. My mom had Alzheimers as well. My father wanted to go first because he could not bear to be without her. These are photos of real lasting love till death do them part.
Those pics are just so amazing! Thanks for sharing them!
