Timing Question

I am walking down the aisle to God Blessed the Broken Road. My question is should I have my entire wedding party walk down to this song since the song is 3:50. I have no idea how long it usually takes everyone to walk down the aisle. I know it won't take me almost 4 minutes to walk down the aisle and I want the song to be played in it's entirety. Im afraid it will be done before everyone is down the aisle or won't be over by the time we are all down the aisle. Any suggestions?

It's MOH, 2 Bridesmaids, one flowergirl, one ringbearer and then one who will carry a sign that says Here Comes Your Bride.

I walked down the aisle with the same song my FG and BM's did. When I got to the end and met my hubby I think they pretty much faded the song out because it was a little longer than expected, but it was still perfect!

I think that 3:50 would be enough play music time to get y'all down the aisle, you could always do a practice run! Or play it and visualize everyone walking down the aisle.

maybe you can have someone loop the song so it wont stop while any of you guys are mid aisle.

Is it possible to practice it? When FI and I went to our ceremony site last weekend I measured how far i could walk in 1 minute as that is how long the intro of the song I want is - now I need to find a very reliable person to play it at the right time!!

We are visiting the venue Wednesday. So I will be scoping out the ceremony site and figuring out how long the aisle will be

I think once you figure out how long the aisle will be and you take a walk down it yourself, you will see that it wont take 3:50 for everyone to reach the end.

I know, as much as you want everyone to go slow, it is more often than not, most everyone 'runs' down the aisle.

it is great advice to time yourself when you're visiting your venue.

I agree with Tammy - most likely it will take way less time than you expect hahah. I know mine did. Just have somebody who can fade the song out when you are all there.

But definitely when you do a rehearsal, time it. That way on the day of the wedding you will be sure to know how everything will work out!
