Tissue during ceremony?

Hello ladies

Big questin hit me in the face yesterday: where I am gonna put tissue for myself during the ceremony?

It's very likely that I'll cry but where can I get tissue to "wipe" my face?

Marrieds : how did you do?Is it the tear of joy that you used?

Sorry for this stupid question....

This may not be helpful, but here's what my friend did:  She put tissues in her bra.  That way if she started to tear up she would remember that she would have to reach into her bra to get her tissues in front of everyone... this would make her stop crying!!  She didn't want to ruin her makeup.  haha!

Maybe ask the groom, MOH, or officiant to hold them for you?  Then you could give them a signal if you need the tissues.  Just a thought.  :)

Bumping for better suggestions.  :)

I had soem in my dress and I also gave some to the officient for me in case I needed them. You see alot of brides reach into there dresses for a tissue...it usually makes people laugh and kind of breaks the tears a bit lol

You can wrap one around your bouquet and use your hand holding the bouquet to cover it too. :)

Somehow, I have no idea how, I didn't cry that day. It was all just too surreal for me.

I'm not married yet but I'm a BIG CRY BABY and I plan on having a hankie and holding it around my bouquet then just keeping it in my hands for the vows. Plus I'll be holding my I Do card at that point so I figured it should work out ok.

My officiant handed me a tissue when I got to the alter... I didn't even think about the fact I was going to cry, I was just glad my officiant did... guess it wasn't her first rodeo :-)

I had it in my hand the whole ceremony, just one kleenex. I had my MOH holding more in case I needed it, but it was in my hand the whole time. Nobody really new but me, and it didn't get in the way because it was just one kleenex.

I planned on keeping mine in the palm of my hand while holding the bouquet....I just know I am going to cry like a baby. I tear up when I hear songs I plan on playing on the wedding day and imagining it!!! LOL

I think I will give my MOH some to hold for me and I like the idea from kittyglampants about holding it behind the bouquet.  My fiance' is sweet. He probably will be wiping my tears away too!  Definitely have to wear smudge proof makeup.  And I think I am going to have tissues for guest too because everybody is going to be balling their heads off at our ceremony.

I carried a vintage handkerchief and just tucked it in my hand that held my bouquet.  I've also seen some brides tuck it inside of a bracelet on their wrist.  Plus, you can have a handkerchief that is embroidered with your monogram and date to make it even more special :)  Amazingly, I didn't cry as much as I thought I would!  And I'm a MAJOR crybaby.  When you're in front of all of those people, the urge to cry seems to subside a little.
