Just posted this on the TTC board, but I thought I'd ask here too!
Hmmm that is very interesting!!! I know it is important to have regular maintence done before you become pregnant because once you are you can't do certain stuff.
Last time I was at the dentist, they asked me if I was pregnant and I said no, but we are actively trying. I have already had my wisdom teeth pulled so they didn't give me any other news of things to do before I actually get pregnant. Are you wisdom teeth compacted? Do they really need to be pulled? I know some doctors just want to pull them for no real medical reason - so maybe if yours will come in straight you can hold off on it?
Yeah, I think another reason that is so important is because the pregnancy hormones weaken your tooth enamel and you don't want anything to get way worse if it's already started to go downhill. I never had a cavity in my life until I went to the dentist when Kylie was just a few months old, and they told me it was because of the pregnancy.
