Under the window storage bench...

I wanted to do something like this for little E's room under her window.  A little toy box/cubby/storage bench sort of deal.  It won't be in the closet as shown here, because we need her closet for clothes and other storage (how DO people live without a closet?!?), but this is the general idea.

Which one do you like?

Option 1: $69 not including cushion

Option 2: $95.99 for bench, $29 for cushion (which comes in either pink or red)

Option 3: $149 for bench (comes in white), $49 for cushion (comes in pink or red), does not include baskets

Option 4:  $140 and includes baskets (only comes in pink)

Option 5: $60, does not include baskets or cushion

Her crib looks like this (so you know the "feel" of the other furniture)...

I like #1! I like how the cushion is set into the frame on top (even though it doesn't come with it). My second choice would be #5, for versatility and future use.

We actually have a bench like this in our faux mud room by our back door. Matter of fact, we originally bought #5 above.

The box was extremely heavy, so I think the quality would have been good. But we never opened it! We ordered it, and while we were waiting on it to arrive, I found one at Hobby Lobby that already had the cushions and baskets, for a lower price. So when "#5" arrived, I did a store return.

I just went back to the site and I guess it does include the cushion, but in the color pictured... think it would be hard to re-cover?

Ditto Debbie...#1, then #5!!  That's good since they are the cheapest ones :)  I don't think #1 would be hard to cover, especially since you have some sewing abilities!

I think my post got erased somehow? I swear I commented back!

It was just to say that I don't think it would be hard to cover. And you know I have no sewing skills! LOL

However, just to throw a different idea out there, you can totally diy this.  I plan to do this for Audrey's room. It's a kitchen cabinet that goes above the microwave with a seat and small legs added.

However just to throw photo 3171029-1

I'm torn between #5 and #1. Whichever is cheaper and has more storage would be my winner!
