I had a 203K streamline loan ... I would say I loved it because we didn't have the cash to pay for everything that needed done but if I had to do it again, I wouldn't. There's too many hidden fees. We had it done through Wells Fargo so maybe it depends on where the loan is from so it depends on the experience?

I forgot to mention what we had done with this loan: new roof, all new windows, replacing double windows with a glass sliding door, redoing some brick work, getting more electric to the house (had to get a permit and have our electric company do it while adding a new box for the electric), and using the rest around 6K for a pellet boiler.

We pretty much gutted the whole house and redid everything including moving and adding walls, new kitchen (new appliances, cabinets, countertops, flooring), new flooring throughout the house, new bathrooms (everything in the bathrooms), installing radiant heating (our heat comes from the floor so we have heated flooring throughout the house - very expensive but totally worth it and saves so much money on our electric bill).
