Vent: Wells Fargo! UGH!
So last week we did all the reservations for our honeymoon, flights and hotels and all. We put some stuff on my credit card and some on my FI's. I figured all is good, we got everything booked and then this weekend we went out to eat and the restaurant denies his card so of course he calls customer service .... hmmm account has been frozen for possible fraud....turns out Wells Fargo just denied the charges for our honeymoon plans because they thought they could have been fraudulent! What! No phone call from customer service nothing. It took FI at least 20 minutes on the phone to get them to tell him what happened and now we have to book those things over again. Luckily the flights are still the same price and all, I haven't heard back from the hotel yet. But what if the airline fares had gone up? Warning if you bank with them and you know you will be putting some large charges on your credit/debit card call ahead and tell them so this doesn't happen to you. We are going to make sure to call them everytime he pays for something for the wedding or honeymoon now and to let them know we will be traveling when we leave on our honeymoon.
