Venue outdoor or indoor?

Let's share some pics of our venues!

OUTDOOR!  Ours is more of an intimate backyard affair.  These are pics before we changed some of the landscaping, but I'll post newer pics later.

I have dreams of a beautiful indoor wedding, preferably in a ballroom or mezzanine in downtown Portland :D

Mine will be indoors! It was going to be outside at a park here in St Helens, but the Crown Ballroom is just too incredible. MsFork, I would DEFINITELY recommend it :)

That's the crown right?

How much is the venue w/o catering if you don't mind me asking?

I already know I'm going to pay up the hooha for food, so that's not an issue...

I sent them an RFP and they haven't replied yet.. prolly because I said the wedding was in two years.

MsFork- catering must be included, that's the only downside. I imagine they didn't get the email, because they are very good about getting back to you. I think for 120 people it was going to be 9k including DJ, food, venue, and no decor is needed there. They also include centerpieces, linens, plates, glasses, tables, and chairs. I would def go see it, it's beautiful.

We have decided to "X" the Crown because of costs, but I would say go look, the pics don't do it justice! Julian (the husband) is a high fashion photographer and has paid great attention to detail on every aspect of that plac.e.

I've actually been exploring the idea of doing ours at a restaurant in PDX... Mr Chopstick and I went to Wilf's last week for dinner at the Union Station and the Restaurant is GORGEOUS. They only charge $600 to use their restaurant($900 if you want them to cut your cake) plus food costs. They offered to decorate and suggested a few DJs to us as well! They have a few different areas, and will even let you hold the event inside union station, which cracked me up. I'd def. Check them out!

Just looked at it, it's beautiful! I'd suggest it for anyone going for a "city" theme :)
