walking down the isle...

I've been pondering on what song I want to play when my dad and I walk down the isle together. We're not having a dance floor, (church won't allow it, plus my fiance wouldn't dance infront of everyone anyhow so it doesn't matter) however I still want that "Father-Daughter" moment/feeling. My mom and aunt are my main helpers while planning and I've mentioned playing something other the traditional wedding march. But they don't like the idea. What I want to do is find the instrumental only verion of whatever song I choice and walk to that.

I can't decide on whether I should stick to what I want to do, and feel like I get that "father-daughter" moment or have the 'wedding march' play instead.

HELP :(

I think it would be really nice to do your own thing. After all it is your day and it would create some really nice memories for you.

This may be a little late, but I think you should def do your own thing.  There are lots of instrumental versions of songs.  Also if you can't find an instrumental version to a song that you want there are sites online that can do it for you.  You don't want to think back on your wedding and regret not having that Father/Daughter dance moment.  It's important to you (and probably your dad too) so as long as the church allows it go for it.
