Wedding advice for the couple....

Has anyone or is anyone doing this or seen this? I thought it was a cute idea. I wanted to do something similar for us to read on our 1 year anniversary.

ARRANGEMENT

This is an arrangement that is popular at wedding receptions. A table is decorated so that each guest has the opportunity to leave the couple advice for a happy marriage. This is a wonderful keepsake for the bride and groom.

It is a very cute idea- you should definitely do it, very easy to prepare for this too! We are just having an "advice" part in the guest book at my Bridal Shower. But I think having yours at the wedding and reading it a year later would be very sentimental and special :)

We did a "wish tree" at my cousin's shower that I put on. You attach little ribbon to pieces of paper and they hang it on a branch. Just put the branches in a large vase. You can fill the vase with rocks to hold it down. I think there are pics in my bio.

We had something like this at the wedding... My mom & DHs aunt made us a mailbox that is painted with words (love, laugh, live, faith, grateful, etc) on it. We had it set up at the wedding with a framed sign explaining what we wanted, but very few people saw it and left anything. If you do this, one suggestion would be to have someone go around and make sure people know about it or have your DJ/band leader make a comment about it so guests know.
