Wedding Colors- Need help

I am having the hardest time choosing my wedding colors. I'm have a spring wedding on an oceandeck in Florida and our reception is in the ballroom overlooking the pool. All my BMs have already bought their dresses b/c I found an awesome deal however I don't want the color banana everywhere. I like the look of champagnes and sage green and even pinks but I'm having a hard time pairing them with these dresses and I don't want my BMs to be out of place. What colors would look good to incorporate the color with out over kill.

spring, ocean, florida-

If it were me I'd do tons of crisp white, cobalt blue (maybe some varying blues?) & light yellow.

Pretty dress! I completely agree MrsTong! Cobalt blue or even soft greyed blues would be gorgeous with the banana color. Add a sandy brown (darker or lighter than the "bannana")...viola, serene ocean colors.

I totally agree with the colors that have been mentioned, that gorgeous banana color will work great with bright white and cobalt blue or a darker ultramarine blue. Those gowns would be lovely against a bouquet of all-white flowers.

If you wanted to go a softer route, you could pair that yellow with a medium toned dusty lavender and an eggplant color. You could also pair the right shade of sage green with banana and use that color palette including a chocolate brown or navy blue as an accent color. There are lots of directions you can go starting with that banana color.

If you have a hard time visualizing, ask David's Bridal if you can have a swatch of that fabric and start pairing it with a bunch of different colors until you find a combination that you like.

Good luck!

i love banana with crisp white and black

if youre adverse to having black at your wedding, i think "gunmetal" shade of grey would look awesome

Oooh, I really like yellow with black and white. It makes me think of the Viceroy Hotel in Palm Springs. Very clean and fresh - and with some mirrored accents it would be very chic. Here is the web site for that hotel...the color combos in the pictures of the resort can give inspiration. It has a retro modern twist...

When you said your reception was overlooking a pool, combined with those colors, it just came to me. I think it would look fantastic! White linens, black vases/containers (or mirrored ones) with white and yellow flowers, maybe black chargers under the plates...

Ahhh, I'm getting carried away! Too bad I already picked my colors!! :)
