Wedding Coordinator? Outdoor wedding, tented reception, everything a la carte.
I'm so anxious about this whole wedding coordinator thing ...
My finance is basing his opinion how necessary or unnecessary they are on when he was catering, he kinda' think a maitre d' could do everything but I feel like there is so much more with our kind of a-la-carte outdoor wedding where EVERYTHING, even toilets, are being rented.
I just don't know how much I should spend on one. The coordinator I think is great is around 5k, another who I haven't spoken with yet is about 3k and I found another person who is really just DAY OF for $1500.
The least expensive one said she hasn't done events in the area where we will be getting married, does that matter, idk, maybe?
I haven't spoken with the $3000 one yet, speaking with her tonight.
The $5000 one (who will come down from that), brings 2 other ppl, emails me back like 10 min after I email her EVERY TIME, really seems to know what she's talking about, will come out with me 2-3 times to see the place and designs, has really pretty pics on her FB page, and will do stuff like ironing my linens before the wedding (we are purchasing everything ourselves), take care of bathroom trailer if it breaks, and HAS worked in the area before. She's just $5000 ...
I think its all about how much do I want to spend to make sure everything goes as I want it to, with peace of mind so I can enjoy our wedding day.
What do you guys think? Need one? Don't? How much should I be willing to spend?
