Wedding Expenses

There are so many expenses surrounding a wedding. We are always trying to find ways to decrease costs and still have the wedding of our dreams. What one item associated with your wedding is the least expensive? What is the most expensive? What item dis you cut out completely to save money? My most expensive is our photgrapher at $2500. The least expensive item would be my jewerly I got an amazing deal on it for $20. I cut out the fireworks that was $750.

I think my venue is the most expensive $1,500 (+500 roughly for chair upgrade and another $1,000 for refundable deposit. My leas expensive is our cake! We're getting our cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes and it came to $168 total (: I super excited since I had budgeted for $250. We're not doing alcohol cause we don't drink and it is a HUGE cost to have alcohol at a wedding! But all the decorations and such really add up (I haven't kept tack of how much though! lol Most likely between $1,000 and $2,000!

my most expensive was the venue.  they provided the space for the ceremony and reception, tables, chairs, and food. least expensive was my invitations which i got from target.  since i had less than 50 people there was no need to go to the normal wedding invitation shops online cause they sell everything in at least boxes of 100.  due to religious beliefs, i cut out the cocktail hour.  that saved a ton of money.  the biggest thing that kept my costs down was sticking to a small wedding.  with fewer guests i could keep the food and decor quality the way i wanted it.

Reception rental and the food that came with it were by far the most expensive. And that was even with a meal that was only $9 per plate. IMO, yes, you could cut out the photographer and find alternative ways...but this is the most important day of your life and you want a professional making sure all the moments are captured, and not just so that they are on film, but in a fun way. Anyone can take a picture, an actual wedding photographer can make little works of art just for you!
