I seriously need some ideas on some wedding favors. I have no clue on what to give people when they leave. Does anyone have some suggestions?
What is your wedding theme???
We will be having a Oct wedding and we are giving out Bottle of sparkling apple cider for our fall them and we are doing a candied apple table... Love to make them...
we have no clue either! lol at times we thought of doing a memorable favor with "meltaway mints" from hickory farms in a bag since that is where we met. then we would switch and say... oOoOoo how about a votive frame? lol. indecisiveness i tell ya! but it's okay! we have lots and lots of time to think of something! ;)
My theme is very vintage, simple and elegant. I am black white with accents of reds. I don't want to give something that they will never use.
We are doing koozies and I know they will be used.
we wont be doing favours, really not into them at all..might do charitable donation instead.
I'm with Vintage. We are making a donation to a local animal rescue. We will have cards made letting our guests know a donation was made in their name with information about the rescue.
We aren't doing any favors. I have never gotten a favor at a wedding that I've really loved, and I don't want to waste the money. I'd rather get slightly better flowers or something else in the wedding!
All my guests will get a bottle of water with personalized label. Cause Im sure they will be thirsty on their way home after all that alcohol. I wasn’t planning to do favors at first, but this will be very cheap and easy to make.
We may do these heart shaped birdseed hanging things... there's a pic in my bio. You can get them on Etsy in different shapes. Since it's a winter wedding it's a nice, fairly inexpensive thing to hand out... people can go home and hang them on a tree or whatever. Not positive we'll be doing favors, but that's on the list of ideas. :)
We are doing a candy buffet with all sorts of old school candies. We emailed everyone a few months ago and asked them their favorite candy.
we are not doing favors we are going to give the center pieces away
since they or going to be very pricey flowers why waste them.
also i can use the 300 dollars on a desert fountain or ice cream social, or candy table
or some cute food option. I Think everyone would rather have good food and deserts
instead of a favor.. (also all the favors I have from fare collecting dust somewhere)
but good luck to everyoen planning the favors we also had to cut costs so that was were we decided to cut back ; (
We are doing a candy buffet table using candies in our wedding colors.. They will get a bag or box (I will probably make them myself) that will say thank you something along those lines.. and they get to take them home!! =) Everyone likes candy! I am also going to have cupcakes and various other sweets on the table as well..
My wedding favors are coasters, bubbles and candy bags! Inside the coasters, we were putting our names and wedding date. I also agree with June102011 as well! :) Just be really creative as possible!! :)
I m thinking of tulip bulbs because my fiance is dutch and I was thinking about doing candy from my dad's best friend's candy shop. I was going to do every-other and then people can choose.
we will be donating to a charity in honor of our guests, and will eave a tag of some sort on there tables letting them know.
I'm now thinking of doing mini lanterns filled with Mint Meltaways! :)
I spent 3 weeks in Haiti this summer, so we are going to donate $1/guest to the ministry I worked with and give each guest a magnet that says "Pray for Haiti" with our names and date on it, as well as a note explaining. Plus, we're going to package them in envelopes that double as a placecard!
My fiance and I will be moving to Georgia after we're married (we are from Maryland), so we are hoping to do something related to peaches for our favor. My favorite idea so far is peach jam in mason jars...I really want to give people something they will use, as opposed to something with our names on it that they'll never look at again. A friend of mine is doing homemade apple butter! I think I am just a fan of edible favors, haha :)
