Wedding registry

Hello Ladies,

Can anyone share with me how they announced where they were registered???

Did you include the information in your invitations?

Was it only in your shower invitations?  I'm kinda at a loss..any help would greatly be appreciated..

I suggest telling your close family and friends so they can pass the information by word of mouth. It is considered tacky by most to include them in invitations.

It shouldn't be included in your invitations at all. I have a Knot website as well as being on here, so I provided a link to that site on my Save the Dates, which has information on my registries. Typically, it is just passed on by word of mouth, like your mom, bridal party, etc. People will also ask them or you when they get shower and wedding invites because they know gifts are typically expected.

Bed Bath & Beyond includes notecards to provide to guests with information about your registry, I think my bridesmaids are sending these out with shower invites. Not sure if that is Emily Post ettiquette, but I figured that since it wasn't technically from me, it would be ok.

HTH! :)

I linked them in our wedding website, and I printed our wedding website URL on our save the dates.  We'll probably include our URL on one of the invite inserts as well.

we're doing the same....putting 1 insert instead of a bunch of separate ones...as the website has accomodation/directions/registry/map information on it....plus it saves on postage!

As stated above, it's not supposed to be mentioned in your invites.  I put a links section on our website, and also gave the info to my MoH, who helped spread the word to those who asked.
