Hello Patricia! Welcome to Project Wedding and congratulations on your engagement as well as your September 2013 wedding! You picked a great month to get married!

As far as themes go, is there anything you and your FI like commonly? Your theme can be set on things that you guys love! For instance, mine was all about our love and romance. My favorite flowers are calla lilies, but we used roses because we have been giving one another roses ever since we started dating. I love candles, they are the epitome of romantic to me, so our centerpieces for the reception were floating candles. You are getting married in a great month because you will still be experiencing summer weather but on the cusp of fall! If you love flowers and the outdoors, you may want a garden theme wedding or you may want to have your theme centered around fall with leaves. It really depends on your style and your taste. You could even have your wedding centered around how you guys met or your favorite movie.

If you have any more questions or need any more ideas, please don't hesitate to ask! Once all of us get to know you better and some things that you love, the inspiration will flow! Again, welcome to PW and happy planning!

Congrats and Welcome to you. Are you a Chic Bride or a Rustic Bride? Do you like the ideas of Chalk Boards, Mason Jars or flowers. As Tressy stated put together what makes you and FI and go from there.

Remember we are here to help. Again Congrats

Welcome to PW! It sounds like Tressy and Jan had some good things to say - and if you need any help or have any questions, I'm here as well! We're all happy to help!

My husband and I had an outdoor wedding and chose to have a summery feel. From that emerged our colors (yellow and brown) and our theme (sunflowers). We had a back yard barbecue reception and the whole thing was really laid back and happy!

First you two should decide how you want your wedding to feel - do you want something really formal? Classy? Modern? Casual? For us it was easier to choose the rest of our theme/details when we had a general vibe to go off of. Remember, this is YOUR day and you can do absolutely whatever you want!

Well, the reat thing about that time of year is you can do late summer of Fall colors AND you could have an Orchard wedding or a beach wedding just as easily.

Personaly I love Vineyards for this time of year and makes for easy decorating. Grapes Wine center pieces

Cork Bottle Place cards

Again, so many possibilities.

Hi everyone! I am really overwhelmed with the support you are giving me! I am so thankful that I've found this place, and I can feel that I am guided with my wedding plans.

Hmm, so is the detailed plan of our 2013 wedding.

The budget that we have is around $25, 00 to $35, 000 could be the maximum. My fiancee and I have worked for it, and still working until the special day. Fot the guests, we are expecting 100 to 150 people to come.

Our intial venue could be a garden or a beach. He told me that we can have a Polynesian Themed Wedding it is fine with me since I like the idea too. But I don't have the idea if it is fine for the month of September. What do you think guys? If it is not, then what are your other suggestions? Thanks a lot!

Patricia during your entire wedding journey always remember this saying - YOUR DAY, YOUR WAY! I love the idea of a Polynesian Themed Wedding. You don't have to stick with a garden, beach or fall themed wedding just because you are getting married in September and many of our brides on here did not have a theme, just went with things they loved and meant something to them. That is a good number of guest you are expecting ( I had the same numbers) and you can definitely have a wonderful wedding with the budget you have set for yourself. Your theme is unique and original and I LOVE IT!!! I can't wait to see your wedding plans come alive! Have the two of you went looking at venues yet?

If you need anymore help or have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! It can be overwhelming when you look at the whole big picture, but take task one at a time. You are off to a great start already with your Polynesian Theme, so think about colors and venues for your wedding and reception ceremony. Have fun and happy planning!

Welcome to PW! Tressy said it best, Your day, your way!! lol. I think a polynesian would be great! You don't HAVE to have a theme if you don't want to, or if you want to incorporate more than one you can too. We didn't really have a theme to ours, but everybody said it was very "us" so don't get bogged down on a theme...but if you need inspiration for polynesian you came to the right place! We all love to help :)

Thank you all gurls for the support! And because of your words, my fiancee and I have decided to have a Polynesian Themed Wedding. He read all your messages too and he is glad that I found this place. This is really helpful.

So I have some research with Polynesian background and I have seen most are ehld in a beach. But my problem is, we want to have our wedding at around 6 pm because I believe that this is the most solemn hour of the day to celebrate love. Now, I am looking for some lighting scheme which I can use for the venue. And the foods, what are your suggestions here girls?

These foods sound amazing! It depends on if you will be working with/finding a caterer? Do you have any pictures of your venue or the venue that you're thinking of?

Candles are always a nice nice touch!

Those were great pictures! I have searched yesterday, but I never seen these images. It makes me feel excited with my wedding! :D

@Uhlease, we haven't fixed the venue yet. We are still looking for other great beach were we can do the wedding. As soon as we find one, I will post it here right away. Can't wait for my special day! :)

Candles are great decoration, and they really made the place more beautiful. I've done some research about this and found some candle lanters. I think they are nice too. What do you think?
