How are all of you doing this week?? :)
Today I'm on CD19... not really sure if I have O'd or not yet :( Came down with a really bad cold last wednesday and I've been trying to recover ever since!!! Safe to say it's almost gone... but I'm only OPK'ing this cycle and I haven't gotten a positive one yet.... don't know if maybe my body isn't going to O this cycle with the stress of my cold or what... :S
I don't like to admit it... but I'm kind of giving up.... if it doesn't happen this cycle... I'm not going to count it ;) LOL... I can't believe it's taking so long to get PG (not saying 7 months is long... but it's longer than what I thought it would be)... anyone else feel this way???
Hope everyone is having a better/more positive week then I am :)
Hey ladies! I haven't been posting much because lately I've felt like since I cannot technically TTC, I didn't have much to say. But I have been lurking and stalking all of your TTC journeys.
Kristen, I cannot imagine how frustrated you must be feeling after 7 months of trying. Since I haven't been there, I cannot offer many words. But, I am keeping you in my thoughts & prayers.
We were supposed to be having DH's vasectomy reversed last month. We had to postpone due to some of the offices moving buildings at DH's work (he does IT for a University Medical school and practices, so when a building moves he has to do all of the network stuff, moving stuff, etc. It is just him and 1 other guy so they couldn't be left shorthanded). We just got the call yesterday that his appointment is now 3/27. We are so excited! The doctor said that we could start trying as early as 3 weeks post reversal, but it would likely take 3-6 months.
Hi! I'll check in :-) I had some lady troubles and decided to go off the pill 2 months before planned. I've been off 3 weeks, and have been charting every morning with a BBT thermometer and FF. I can tell you I have no clue what my chart means right now!
I haven't been thinking too much about AF, but I'm wondering how soon she'll come back - will I be one of the ones who gets it quickly or over a year later?
@ Kristen - I completely sympathize with what you are going through. Everyone wants it to happen quickly. One thing I always hear, that makes me wonder if charting will be an advantage or disadvantage, is it's usually said the more you think about TTC the less likely it is to happen. I've heard so many girls say right after they legitimately give up it happens. Two co-workers, for example, one gave up after a year and one gave up after 1.5 years ... and now they each have 2.5 year old boys. Stress hormones can play a bigger role than we think. At my last visit my family doctor told me on average her patients try for a year before success, and she said it's that dang stress we don't even realize we're putting ourselves through. So I'll try to stay positive for you :-)
I just need to remind myself of this, because I'm so high stress I think I may actually never get pregnant.
@MissJess - Yay!! Glad to hear about the appt being scheduled!! Let us know how it goes! Will be thinking of/praying for you :)
@youandme - have FUN on your vaca!! Hoping that gives you just what you need to get that BFP!! :)
@Athena - I felt the same way when I first started charting/temping and OPKing. You will get the hang of it, trust me! :) And, that's what we're all here for anyway, to help you with that when you have questions!!
And thank you so much for your words of encouragement!! :) I try not to have a pity party.... but it's been really hard lately and I just need to relax and know that it will happen. AND even though 7 months is awhile... it's not as long as others have to wait to become pregnant. I know sometimes it takes people years <3
Im on CD 22 and am 8dpo on my first cycle with 50 mg of clomid. basically right now im just waiting...I also got news from my dr that my thyroid is out of range and my LH is elevated (signs of pcos maybe?) we will see!!!
@kristen: I just had my yearly appt with my gynecologist Monday, and we talked over TTC. He said 85% of couples will conceive naturally within a year, and that it's totally normal for it to take longer than you expected. He said it's important not to worry before then, although I know it's really difficult. Don't give up! :)
@missjess: How exciting! I bet you can't wait to start trying for your little bean. I'll be thinking of you guys next month!
@ashle1738: I read your other thread about the problems that your lab work turned up...I'm sorry to hear about that, but hoping and praying that your doctor gets everything straightened around for you and you get your BFP quickly.
As for me, I'm on CD14, and I think I'm ovulating today! Yay! I had a positive OPK yesterday, and EWCM since Monday (which is a first for me since TTC). So no matter how tired I am after painting our living room all week and working this 12 hour shift today, it's business time again when I get home! Lol. FX for good news in 2 weeks!
Waiting, waiting, waiting. =(
Waiting on my first blood test results to come back. I had hoped to hear yesterday.
I am double posting a lot lately! Sorry ladies!
Hi there. Today I'm on CD 20 and 7 DPO. Since Thuesday I have the feeling that I'm out this month again :.( I had some red/brownish spotting the last two days and I'm really sure this couln't be implantaions bleeding (because it holds for two days) and today nothing - no spotting! This TTC journey is soooo weird and like Kristen I am almost ready to give up my hopes for a little bean :(My sister is a midwife and she's still talking to me not to think to much about it. Haha better said then done ;) plus my SIL is due at the end of April and seeing her belly growing is soooo hard (she got preggo on her first cycle of off BCP and is almost 37 - she thought it will take her months before expecting!!!) Don't get me wrong, I'm soooooo super excited for her and my brother because she's like a big sister for me and I really can't wait to met their little girl and hoping to be the godparents of her *lol*
So we will see whats going on in one week :/
Wishing you all a lovely week!!
Kristen: Positive vibes to you and your hubby, dont give up Timing is always the key.
Im 13DPO waiting til Monday to test again. I feel like im out this month but Im not sure... keeping my fingers crossed...I have been feeling sick so I decided to take my Prenatal and B12 at night instead of in the am. praying for a BFP next week.
