Ditto to the 9/13/11 birthday coming up!! Can't wait to see her :)

Happy Monday Ladies and Cheers (with a glass of water) to another healthy week for all!!

One of my friends has a preggo blog now and she is due in Jan/February time frame and my other friend revealed to me she is also expecting, around Feb/March. I am so excited for them! We have babies coming in back to back! lol

I'm working this week, probably a few hours overtime with these projects - so about 10-11 hours a day if not more.

I'm 35 weeks tomorrow but I already feel it, look it and everything hurts from my neck and downwards to my hips. I am a little anxious about the Strep B test that I'll have next week. I haven't had an exam in a good while and that probing always makes me feel like "okay...just think happy thoughts for a few seconds". lol

  • Walking 10 steps is exhausting and I am out of breathe.

  • Bending down - yeah right! It's like doing an Olympic Squat!

  • Toilet Yoga - I've got it down to a science

  • I can barely keep my eyes open long enough to feel awake

  • LO has moved from my left side to my right side and I hope he is still head down because I felt a large twisting motion the other day so I hope he didn't flip around

  • I always feel tired but can't go to sleep unless exhausted (For example: This Saturday, though I was out of my head, something told me to get up at 9:00 am and get to cleaning. So I cleaned our food pantry, cleaned the entire kitchen + fridge, did 3 loads of laundry with about 2 more loads to go, cleaned our bedroom and did about an hour of work-work on my laptop all on Saturday before 1 pm). Then I had the nerve to iron our fancy dinner napkins after washing them for Thanksgiving. I have no idea where that came from but I seriously was ironing for an hour while watching college football on Saturday. lol

What hurts, is sore, aches or falls asleep after 10-15 minutes:
back, legs, pelvis, lady parts, bum, ovaries kinda ache, bladder is always on the fritz when LO is moving just about every hour for at least 5-10 minutes and loves to roll over on it pushing me to either hold it or get up and waddle to the restroom. Legs fall asleep, neck hurts from trying to sit up, left side is not comfortable anymore to lay on and I've had a few bloody noses with a constant sore that doesn't want to heal in my right nostril. My mom said she had a bloody nose with me a week before I was born. *yikes!*

I can feel my body getting ready; it's stretching, moving when I'm sitting and I swear I felt my pelvis pop when I went to get up and now my hips looks HUGE! I waddled to Starbucks to get my decaf PS latte today and I honestly felt like a whale this morning. My belly actually looks like it's carrying a child! lol

But out of all of this, I am still thankful that I made it this far when this time last year I was told it might take me 6 months to a year to get pregnant and then wondering if I was even going to full term with this little guy. I'd still do it all again.

I ordered a sock monkey diaper stacker this weekend and my mom finished the crib bed skirt she sewed for his crib and I also ordered baby shower invites that should be here tomorrow. I will send them out on Wednesday and start doing my arts and crafts for the decor. I can't wait. I need to order some more sock monkey fabric from fabric.com and we are going to attempt to make the curtains for his room and the rest of the crib items as well.

Oh and I joined Amazon.com's "Amazon Mom's" program. I am already on there as a prime member and because I upgraded to Mom status, I get my yearly membership prorated and you also get 30% off of diapers and deliveries to your home. They have a lot of sales going on right now. I am going to investigate some more tonight but I can't wait to start using the service. I've heard really good things about it.

Carters.com has another 50% off sale right now and I'm tempted to use my 20% coupon and get some more onsies and a few more outfits for the winter.

Other than that; everything feels like it's moving along normally and now it's just counting down to the last 30 days. I am interested as to what the doctor will say when I go in next week about the uterine radiologist and the birth plan they are setting up with me regarding having to do an Emer-C-section or if we can make a vaginal birth. I'm praying for a V-Birth and that I don't bleed out and have to go into surgery.

I pulled out my large Coach travel bag out of my closet and it's next to the crib, and I am going to start putting items in there this weekend. I need to get to Penny's and get another gown, extra pair of house slippers, my toiletry bag from CVS or someplace and get some items in there I know I will need for a few days. Wash an outfit for LO, get DH's backpack and put a few pairs of clothes for him in there, and get it packed and also get some pads for myself for the recovery. I am not sure what type of Pads to get; overnight or even diaper type pads. What scares me is bleeding too much (Because I know I can bleed pretty heavy) and sending DH to get me some at the store and he comes back with the wrong kind lol

Prayers to all for a healthy week!!

Heyyy Ladies!

I'm sitting at home drinking some coffee before my 9:30 doc appt to go over the induction process! Eeeek! Then I'm off to work for 6 hrs. Yeah, why am I working today?! Cuz I'm crazy & I didn't want to abandon my sister with only 1 day of training. Then it's home, have a nice dinner, and then off to the hospital at 8pm.

I'm so excited! Nerves haven't kicked in... yet. I'm preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best. I know it's not going to be fun or comfortable at all, but I'm so looking forward to meeting LO!

I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you lovely Ladies! You've gone through this journey with me. Shared in the ups, the downs, the rants, the raves, the hormones, and everything else. I couldn't be more thankful to have gone through this all with you guys. The support system on PW is so amazing & I'm glad I stuck around for so long!

I'll keep everyone updated & again, if we aren't FB friends... let's be friends!

Shandi- my excitement is through the roof for you at this moment! I wish you a safe and fast delivery! And I plan on being your stalker until pictures are posted of that sweet baby girl ! And I am beyond impressed that you are working today! I'll be sending prayers to you and your DH this evening... Good luck !

MrsG - sounds like things are really coming together! And can I just say hat you are adorable for ironing your napkins..hehe to cute. I wonder if your nesting stage is hitting you? Sure sounds like it!

As for me: The baby has dropped for sure, because I can breathe again...which is nice but I really didn't want her to start to engage just yet. Bed rest is very annoying & I'm terrible at it. I have to many things to do such as take care of my crazy Isabelle ;) and dishes! Haha...
I packed Abigail's hospital bag this morning after spending last night with bad stomach pains. I packed sleepers & going home outfits. And mittens , hats & pacis.. everything else the hospital should provide. But I'm going shopping to Target this Friday to buy cute blankets and random items.
I only need to make it 19 days before she is full term so I'm really hoping to make it. But of we make it past this Friday ill be happy with that to.
( wrote this from my phone , so if anything seems off I'm sorry ! )

Soontobe: Thanks for the morning laugh!!!!!!!!!! Toilet Yoga!! Hilarious!! 35 weeks is sooooooo close! I can't wait to see your LO!

Shenanigans: What an exciting day it must be for you! You and your DH must be thrilled! I can't wait to see pictures of Raleigh. She is going to be precious! I'll be thinking of you tonight when you go in for your induction. Wishing you all the best... PM'ing you my Facebook info right now. :) I would love to up to the minute updates!!!

As for me, I managed to put a dent in the nursery. He now has a dresser and a changing table. The crib is still full of clothes that I need to wash and put away. I'm trying but for some reason I can't help and fall asleep before getting it done. LOL! So the backpain and joint pain have been terrible. Standing up has become quite the task. I only have 18 more working days then I'm off for 6 months! I'm counting down the DAYS...I wish I could go like NOW! Other than that I can't believe we are all almost there! It's been an amazing journey!!

Shandi - I'm going to PM you for Facebook. I thought I had added you. :)
I can't believe you are working today either...but seriously that is something I would do so I can relate lol
I'm so glad like you we have supported each other on here. It's amazing and truly a wonderful way to be apart of this journey with other strong women and feel a bond through our bodies, emotions and babies :)
Can't wait to see her!

Omg Vegas she has dropped? Wooohoo!!
I know how you feel about bed-rest! It's mentally and physically taxing on you...just take it easy and keep telling yourself "it won't last forever".
19 days...lets keep cooking baby!
And yes, the nesting has hit super hard. I want to get off of my laptop and start mopping the floor and hand wash the laundry room floor and organize DH's closet. If we had plants, I'd be gardening outside in the front yard. It's the first day in a week so far we have not had any rain! Also, my mom thinks I will last only a few more weeks before LO arrives because of how I'm feeling. She even said, if you are in the hospital having the baby, we'll still have the baby shower while I'm pushing him out! haha! I think that would still be awesome. It's like a birthday party for Noah and we aren't even there lol

Alison - seriously! My mom said the EXACT same thing with a "woa...calm down" lol Sunday I paid for it and couldn't do anything. Nesting? I could've built a whole house with the burst of energy lol

Sorry my post was so long ladies; I had word-vomit and couldn't calm down.

Vegas - Crossing my fingers she stays in there 19 more days... (holy crap only 19 days till you are full term!!!)

Fitzsies - So excited to hear the nursery is coming together! Can't wait to see pictures!!

As for me....I am officially in shock at how fast things are happening. I think this post has really made it sink in. I will be full term in 23 days....WOAH!!!

Kennedy's crib bedding is scheduled to be delivered to my house TODAY!!! I have my 3rd childbirth class tonight so I won't be able to finish her nursery yet...I have another class tomorrow...so maybe Wednesday I can finish it! I had my maternity tour last Thursday. The hospital is really nice and accomodating...and it felt real being in there knowing I would be having Kennedy there in a month or so! The nice thing is the baby NEVER leaves your room....from the time you have her to the time you leave! (Unless medical complications). I am also on cloud 9 still that DH is going to be there when I have her. I feel like I can do these next two months without him now...because he will be here for the imporant thing. Yes, he will still miss her first couple weeks...but he will be here to bring her into the world and that is #1.

I just realized I didn't post a recap from my last childbirth class...so I will post a recap on both of them tomorrow.

Alison; can't wait to read your recap from your CB class. I've been waiting for them :)

I love that the baby never leaves your room. Same with us. It's unless "you want the baby to go into the nursery while you rest or to be fed with a bottle" but the baby won't leave.

The next few months or "weeks" as you can see them, will go by super fast. So glad that DH will be there for Kennedy's birthday!! That is the biggest and best!

Can't wait to see her bedding :)

Alison - I am looking forward to your update on the cb class as well ! And seriously can't wait to see her bedding! Yay!

Yes holy crappy 19 days and full term ! Where did time go? ! I am getting so excited for all of us to meet our LOs!

Mrsg , it does sound like he will be here soon for sure! My mom said if Abigail comes before my September 25 shower that it will be a celebration of life party instead! Lol

Hi Ladies- sorry about being MIA- work is killing me.  Sigh.

Shandi- super excited to meet her!  I hope all is going well today.

Vegas- I agree with Alison- stay in bed!  Although I'd be the same way if I were on bed rest.  Crazy to think that she's dropped and will be here soon!  Is the temp dropping finally?  We were 90 on Monday and are 68 today and 56 tomorrow- so I'm guessing it's coming your way!

Alison- so glad that DH can be there.  My hospital has the same policy, which is awesome.  So excited to see her room with the bedding.  I'm sure it will look great.  LOL- to the coming home outfit.  My hubs is a ND fan and sometimes I wonder if he regrets choosing Marquette over them.  I went to school in Indiana too and I have to say i'm 100% sure he would have hated South Bend!

MrsG- you are nesting!  And- yeah- the being out breath part sucks.  Hang in there!  You are in the home stretch.

Fitzies- hooray for only having like two weeks of work before being on leave.  You are so lucky!  And even luckier that you get 6 months!

Not much is new for us.  I feel great still.  I can't really bend over anymore, but that is more of an inconvenience than anything else.  I'm scrambling to figure out my clothing situation as the temps dropped pretty much overnight (90 on Monday- 608 today and 56 on Wed!).  There are places north of us that have a frost warning- sigh. I'm thinking that I need to put on socks and shoes tomorrow b/c it will be in the 40s when I leave for work.

DH is nesting more than I am (LOL!).  Not so much the cleaning form, but definitely is in we need to get ready mode.  We bought a bassinet on Saturday so now he has somewhere to sleep.  And I was instructed to make a detailed list of what we need (including prices- or where to find the deal).  So I'm guessing we'll be picking up a few things every week.  I'm going to try to make a La Leche League meeting tonight- assuming that I actually leave work sort of on time today.  And we have our breastfeeding and baby care class on Saturday.  I've been charged with some projects for our shower (10/8)- like cleaning, figuring out the food, and finding places for everyone to sit (we have whole rooms w/o furniture!).

I'm trying I swear to it, I've decieded that online shopping and book reading will be my friends.. And you can tell I'm slightly bored today with the ridulous amount of posts today..haha. And no it's still hot here, it's in the 90's at the moment. Boo!!

And I'm happy to hear you are feeling great! I am so tempted to buy one of those Mr. Gabber things..lol

Norpro 10200 Long Arm Grabber

I hope your tempt doesn't drop to much so your not forced into buying winter clothes.. that bites! And how exciting that you bought a place from him to sleep aka the bassinet! How adorable it is that your Dh is nesting btw! Have fun shopping and getting ready for your shower! I hope you get an awesome turn out!

Ummm...that is a HUGE temperature drop in such a short time! That is insane! How do you not get sick from that? I totally understand about working tons...it is our busy time right now (and I soooo should not be on here)...sigh...breathe! PLEASE let us know how LLL goes...I am really interested...it just sucks because the only ones around here meet on weekdays so I would only be able to attend while on maternity leave.
