Let's see those crafty projects. :)
I don't have a picture of the ones I'm currently working on, but these were the ones that I made for myself...they were the trial pair (as you can see by the middle being the same colour twice...oops).
I made a pair for my DH as a wedding gift, and a pair for my MIL and FIL as a mothers day and fathers day gift. Now I'm working on a pair for my SIL and my BIL for Christmas!
Eeep! Those look SOOOO cute!
I'm working on a bunch of these:
I need to have at least 5 done by friday, and then a few baby hats by Christmas for my nephew! My fingers are busy!
I love your hats! I have wanted one for so long, so I think it's finally about time I learnt how to make them!
alycia- I use this hat pattern (http://mommiescrochet.blogspot.com/2011/01/football-beanie-pattern.html) without doing the stripes, (I use hdc instead if dc) and on round 6 I do 5 hdc between the 2hdc.
For the bows I just create a rectangle however large and want and then wrap with yarn. So easy and such a great gift!
Thank you thank you thank you!! I actually spent the morning searching for a good hat pattern and I couldn't find one!! :)
I love that hat!!! I need to PM you about one!
I can finally post something that I am ACTUALLY working on right now...LOL
This is how it looked Sunday
and this is it so far this morning. I got so hooked doing it that I was crocheting while I was transcribing yesterday. I am making an afghan to donate to our event in May. DH was wondering if I can have it finished by then. LOL
Becca- I love what your doing! What stitch are you using? The texture looks great!
The hat pattern for the one I made for you is posted above with my suggestions. I try the adult hats on throughout crocheting them to make sure its tight enough and long eough. Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks Jennifer!!! I am doing a triple stitch. I got much further since I posted this - it's almost become attached to me. I really want to try and get it done before my next team captain meeting on March 19 (or at least halfway) so I can show our coordinator. I was thinking of maybe using this as a prize for a drawing to raise money for our team. Not sure yet. : )
Thanks for letting me know and I will try it, although if you hear wierd noises over in Cali, don't panic it's just me screaming because I can't make the hat. LOL
I will keep you posted. : )
Here's what I finished this month:
My slippers for the reception. I used wool and I felted them. Still need to put the button on before I take the new pic.
Here's what I just finished tonight! A dress for my granddaughter. Again, need to get a button - for the neck closure.
oh my goodness, now I'm a *little* deflated on how awesome my project turned out. Siouxan, those are amazing! I finished a baby blanket for a friend who just announced a few months ago she and her husband will be starting to try. it's gender neutral for that reason. What do you think?
And for some odd reason, hubbys comp won't let me resize... >.>
Siouxan- wow! Amazing work! Please, post more!
Aggie- love it! I bet its super soft!
Becca- any updates on your blanket?
Aggie - Very nice blanket! I'm sure the new parents will be very pleased.
Milkgal - Sorry! I forgot to take pics of the two pairs of fingerless gloves that I finished.
I've been working on my cross stitch a little more lately. I have a couple of tams/hats that I need to finish before the end of the month. I'll try to remember to take pics.
