What did you do the week before the wedding?

I feel like I have my check list to get done and make sure everything is packed.

Stress, and stress, and stress! Lol. No seriously, yes I did stress, hee hee, but I tied up a lot of loose ends such as making sure all my bridesmaids dresses were completed and checked in with the vendors because I am a control freak.

Hmm. I worked M-W that week, and took Th/Fri off for wedding stuff!

Basically I made sure everything was packed in boxes and labeled on where to go at the venue, and how to set it up! Other than that, my DOC took care of contacting all vendors, so I just did a few of my own things. Got waxed, mani pedi, etc :D

I feel relativly calm except for the groomsmen, I read all these things about girls being stressed and I don't feel it. Maybe it's cause I'm OCD and had things packed for the last 3 months lol.

The only reason I was stressed is because two of my vendors bailed out on me at the last minute. Wedding coordinator and caterer and my bridesmaids were a  nightmare on elm street. Lol. The day of I forgot all that had transpired and was focused on my handsome groom waiting for me at the end of the aisle. ; )

I'm taking the week of before the wedding as we have alot of family coming from interstate and wish to spend some time with them as we head off on our honeymoon the day after the wedding. I plan to relax and tie up the lose ends and get my hair done, manicure and all the girly stuff.

I worked most of that week, I think I had Thursday and Friday off. I remember I got our puppy groomed since he was the ringbearer, got a mani/pedi myself, made sure everything was packed to go to the reception/ceremony sites and basically just double-checked everything with the BP and vendors.

 - Don't forget to pick up your marriage license

 - Make sure any music/readings you need to have are where they should be

 - pack a bag for yourself with any toiletries/emergency items you might need and gather all items for your outfit

Those are a few of the major things I can think of! And don't worry too much, it will all work out and be fine! The best thing you can do is try to keep calm and get some good night's sleep so you will look fabulous on the big day!!

I plan on doing nothing!

All of our guests will have arrived from England so I am making sure everything is done before the first ones arrive so I can spend as much time as possible enjoying their company. My sister has arranged for her manicurist to come to her house so a few of us can get our nails done and have champagne & nibbles, and she is hosting a BBQ on the Wednesday night.

Basically just hanging out with friends & family!! I can't wait!

I WORKED!!!!!

I kept my mind active at work to take my mind off the wedding.

My flowers all died a week before the wedding so really all the stresses going on in your life can never prepare you for what will actually go wrong.

I took the week before off from work, but there was lots to do! I picked up my dress, baked pastries for the sweet table with my grandma, did all the floral arranging, and decorated the venue with my family:)
