What did you eat today?

I have learned if I have to "check in" with people, I normally do better with keeping away from sneaking in that treat. 


Today we went to breakfast, so I had a 2 egg veggie omlet.  I didn't finish it.  I was on the run, and rushing to work, so I grabbed a Lean Cuisian for dinner.  (This isn't normal for me).


I have had 2 boiled egg whites as a snack.  I know I am not that good, but I am trying to do the six small meals :(


How is everyone else doing?

Today so far I have eaten...


Breakfast: High protein meal replacement shake 


Lunch: Pineapple, Watermelon, Cucumber & Feta cheese salad (sounds wierd but is YUMMY)


For the rest of the day I have planned to eat...


Snack: 3 Rye crispbreads & low fat coleslaw


Snack #2: Homemade Apple Sauce (just apples cooked)


Dinner: 1 Pork chop (just the lean meat part), Asparagus, Carrots & Sweet corn.


 


That leaves me with about 250 calories left for the rest of the day. I'll see how hungry I am later then decide what to have then.


 


I love these kind of posts. It also helps me eat better and I like to get ideas from what everyone else is eating.

Good job! I haven't eaten anything yet. I amgoing to have protein shake then meet with personal trainer at 11. I need to deperately go shopping so today I will have boiled chicken and salad for lunch (lemon juice for dressing with a tiny bit of season salt) and lemon pepper talpia with half a red potatoe for dinner. Not sure the veggie yet :( that is the goal. I will be throwing something in there as a snack but need to go to store first (unless I want to snack on ketchup ha ha )

Ok, you guys are way better than me. I am joining this because I need to be accountable for what I eat!


I had some hot chocolate (from a Swiss Miss packet) for breakfast.


For lunch: pasta with alfredo sauce


 


I did go to the gym and workout for an hour though!


I plan on eating a light spinach salad for dinner.

So far today i have had cereal with almond milk, a banana, some cantelope, Tunafish, and an apple. ohh and a handful of gummy bears :P

i've had:


a protein smoothie for breakfast with raspberries, blueberries and mango


broiled salmon and a salad for lunch


dinner will be either ground turkey with grean beans and brown rice or chicken soup with brown rice


almonds and berries for a snack!

I have been so bad today!


Breakfast: wedding cake, bagel thin, and 2 mini muffins


Lunch: nothing


Dinner: cube steak with a cream of mushroom sauce and corn.


I went to the gym for an hour so I hope everything balances out. :)

ME:


Breakfast: Bowl of Special K with skim milk (measured out my 1 cup) haha


Lunch: 2 slices of veggie pizza (broccoli, cauliflower, and green olives on a whole wheat pita with low fat cream cheese)


Snack: Special K Protein Shake


Dinner: Cajun chicken and avacado on a whole wheat sandwich thin with chipotle mayo :)


Snack/Dessert: Homemeade cream puff with strawberries and whipped cream! YUM I couldn't resist!

Here's today's check in for me :)


Breakfast: High protein meal replacement shake


Snack: Apple sauce & fat free yoghurt


Lunch: Pasta & Bolgnaise ready meal (small kids portion) & chunky cucumber slices


Snack: 1/2 portion of cereal & 1/4 low fat milk


Dinner: 2 fish cakes, Big salad, 35g Feta cheese & canola oil+vinegar dressing.


Snack: 30g cashews


 


I didn't do too good with fruit today. Tomorrow I will include more...


Did go to gym today, did 30 mins cardio and worked on abs & arms too :) I also hate my arms!!

Mrs H, That is way good!


Today, I fell off the wagon :(


Boyfriend brought over McDonald's for breakfast :(


Lunch was baked chicken breast with broccoli


Dinner was a salad with small amount of baked chicken


Snack was one of those NAKED drinks....


Yesterday I did an interval run training on the treadmil, I wanted to die lol I didn't go to gym today.  My body aches from yes cardio and weight lifting

Hey ryeb, McDonalds every now and then is totally ok! And the rest of your day was healthy too so don't be so down on yourself. You gotta have some treats to make all the healthiness easier :)


Yesterday my eating looked like this;


 


Breakfast: High Protein meal replacement shake


Snack: 1 Apple spread with 10g peanut butter (YUMMY!! and healthy!)


Lunch: Coleslaw & Crispbreads


Snack: 1 Slice wholegrain toast, 30g Feta cheese, 5 cherry tomatoes.


Dinner: Pork chop, Carrots, Peas, Mini Sweetcorn & Green beans


Drink: 1 cup low fat milk


Snack: 1 Slice wholegrain toast & 10g Peanut butter


 


Went to gym for a quick 35 cardio only session.


How's everyone else been doing?

MrsH I really need to get on your meal plan!!  I am failing completely it seems lol


I know what I should be doing, but it is like I buy the wrong foods.  :(  35min isn't bad either for cardio. 


Anything more than 20 minutes is good.


I learned too that if you do your 5 min warm up, do muscle training, then 30 minutes of cardio you get more of a work out than 45 minutes of cardio.

Breakfast: 1/2 of a sesame bagel, toasted with a tiny amount of butter; 1 cup of coffee with fat free creamer


Lunch: 2 hard boiled eggs; 1 cup of iced tea


Snack: Handful of veggie chips, 1 chocolate chip cookie; bottle of water


I had a big mug of green tea when I got home from work. 


Dinner: Grilled salmon over mixed greens and balsamic vinagrette, 1 diet coke


....I really need to up my water intake!

I had a two egg scramble with mushrooms & a few parmesan pieces, three orange slices & two cups of coffee for breakfast. I had water & cottage cheese for my snack & lunch. Supper is probably going to be leftover whole grain spaghetti. Almonds for a snack...


my FI and I are eating healthier now that we live together. We were long distance for 2 1/5 years, & whenever we visited each other we splurged on food...now we look forward to our splurge meal everyweek!!
