What did your mom say about...

Your colors? My mom kinda flipped out...she wasn't too happy. (aqua and red) She didn't see them as "pretty" colors for a wedding.

What did your mommy say?

I didn't really have colors, but my mom made MANY a comment about my dress...it got really annoying.

But the day of the wedding, she sucked it up and acted like I was in a $250,000 Vera Wang, which I appreciated :)

My Mom actually picked my colors!  I am a very 'grey' girl, if you look in my closet I have a good 70% of my clothes white or grey.  My Mom loves bright colors and it just fits our location perfectly!  For once, I will be a very colorful girl!

My colors are purple, red, black and silver.  She is a purple hater and refuses to wear it though she has agreed to wear either red or silver.  I like the idea because all of the bridal party will be in purple so she and my Dad will offset them.

My colors are coral, yellow, light pink, and turqoise, and my mom definitely did not like them when I first told her! At. all. She thought they were totally untraditional and that I should pick some thing more wedding like, but she's changed her mind now.

My dress.  I told her I wasn't waering white or ivory and she freaked.  She said, "I guess that's ok as long as you don't wear black."  I actually considered black.  When she found out I was having my dress made in blue she was happy it wasn't black.

Honestly, my Mom hasn't asked about anything.  We talked a little about wedding stuff with my sister-in-law at my sister's birthday.  However, we haven't gotten into details because nobody has asked.  They just know it's in Lake Tahoe.  And that's fine with me.  I don't want family involved in our planning.  Just show up and enjoy your time there.
