What's next on your list??
Things I have done: Venue, church, florist, photographer, cake, shoes...:)
Getting my DIY projects done :)
Mostly everything is planned and set to go :) Just on to the little details...
Did more of my wedding wands yesterday but need to buy more ribbon b/c I ran out :)
Now I have a total of 79!! Whoa hoo!! I'll do 21 more and then wait until AFTER I start recieving RSVPs next year to see if I have to make any more...
FI will start our card box soon. And I need to start on my pom poms for my little girls :)
i need to find a baker and decide on a videographer! i met with a baker but he was a stuck up a$$ and his cake had no taste! i need to find another ...humph.
i have to send out save the dates and invitations for the bridal party. all vendors are booked for the date. after that all the diy projects. i also want to pay close attention to the ceremony design.
whats next for me is to find a DRESS!!! i have all of the big things booked....except the cake.
whats next for me this winter is to get alot of my diy projects done.
Also we are taking our engagement photos in a few weeks so after that i need to get the STD out in the mail!
i need to find and book a hotel with a group rate in case people don't want to drive after the wedding, look at a couple of florists, pick out my wedding ring (FI already fell in love with one) and schedule e-pics and b-pics. i'm trying to get as much as possible done right now since school starts next week! eeeek!
Like jlv, the dress is next for me. In fact, I started dress shopping on Wednesday and it was so fun and I found 2 that I really liked. I'm going an appointment today and tomorrow as well. I want to decide on my dress within the next 2 weeks but so far so good!!
I have most of the big stuff booked and decided on, except the videographer and the linens so that will be next after the dress.
Besides that I started working on our STDs this week and hope to have them done by the second week of October.
I've also started designing out invitations too!
It's nice having the time to see what you like and don't like when it comes to your wedding. Walmart has a lot of things (not the wedding department) but basic DIY supplies like candles and glass rocks. My strategy is to wait until after Easter and raid the pastel colored goodies for things I might need.
At this point if I can't get anything else done for my wedding I'm alright. It's a good place we're getting married at and I'm pleased that I'm able to be a June bride. I'm looking forward to seeing friendly faces and seeing them get piss drunk as well.
I'm struggling with the photographer. I have dresses ordered, songs picked, a DJ hired and musicians signed. I've got my Save the Dates ready for the mail, my invitations completely designed, my cake all picked out, a song list and reception schedule written, all my venues booked. But I cannot find a photographer who has any sort of sense when it comes to pricing out a wedding package. I mean, four thousand dollars, really? Is this actually happening?
