What's working out for you?

Hi ladies! My name is Caitlyn, and I'm new to the group. My wedding will be in March of 2012, and I'd love to go from a size 8/10 back to my old size 4. Graduating from dance and dating a man in a Cuban family with awesome Cuban food has been the cause of my 25 pound weight gain over these past five years. I've already cut portions, and are using the app Lose It! On the iphine to track calories. I'd love to hear what has been working out for you on your weight loss journey. Any tips, exercises, or food recommendations would be amazing. I'm excited to join you all in this group and get healthier.

I recommend a nice combo of strength training AND cardio. :) Make sure you eat enough calories though, it seems like we are brainwashed to think that the less we eat, the more we will lose.  It is a myth!
