What's your holiday weekend strategy?
How are you planning to stay on your weight loss program this weekend? Or, will you take the weekend off?
I'm going to try to be moderate as best I can. I'm hanging out with my best friend and...eating healthy is not his forte. So, it's going to be a challenge.
One thing we did when I was with him for 4th of July weekend, I had this STRONG urge for a cheeseburger, onion rings and a shake. Like, crazy strong, it was all I could think about all day. So, we walked to a Dennys which is about a mile and a half or so from his house, ate, and walked back. I enjoyed my meal with no guilt and on Monday morning, I was still own I think half a pound for that week. I felt like it was a good compromise and it taught me that I can splurge once in a while, but I've gotta earn it! ;)
