What's your sleeping arrangement plan?

I am really interested in getting a co-sleeper.  Specifically this one:

I am really interested photo 3452075-1

It's the Arm's Reach Natural Original Co-sleeper.

Wondered what you ladies are planning on using, or, for the brand new mommas, what is working for you.  We plan on exclusively breastfeeding, and I know having him right there, at least for the first few months, will be really convenient and less taxing.  The problem is, it is a bit of an investment for just a couple of months of use....

I plan on getting the exact same sleeper. I've read great reviews about it plus I plan on breast feeding as well; I figure it was be a great investment. LO will be in our room for the first few months so, this will or I at least I hope will be perfect.

You should definitely register for it, you never you may receive it as a gift. DH and I did that, we're keeping on fingers crossed :)

We have the "mini" version of this cosleeper, but we keep the sides up and just use it as a bassinet... but she sleeps most nites in the FP rock & play cradle...keeps her up at an angle...

We used the mini version for my daughter and I really liked it- it worked great. I think she had outgrown it by 4 1/2 months but totally worth it for the time we used it. I also never used a play n pack so it wasn't something additional we had to buy ya know?

Ditto Jackie - we used the FP Rock n Play cradle (best thing ever!) since my guy had acid reflux. We used that for 2 1/2 months then went to the bassinet since he outgrew the RnP. He was in our room until almost 4 months old.

I have heard from some mama's that have the Arm Reach that is very hard...that was the only complaint. Our bassinet was also hard so we wrapped a blanket around the pad plus since his reflux he needed to be at an angle.

I had originally wanted something like this for in our room when LO was first born because I am too hoping to breastfeed.  My aunts ended up buying me a bassinet though so we'll be using that instead.

We're going to borrow a cradle from DH's bro and sis in law and use that by my side of the bed for the first couple months probably and then move him into his crib which will also be in our bedroom. That's a great idea for a co-sleeper! I love the ones that are like the baby is right next to you but you don't have to worry about rolling over them haha

We also plan on using the Rock 'N Play sleeper :-) It has been my go-to baby shower gift for the last several years...my friends and family members who are moms have always raved about it! So now that it's our turn, we figure we will use it, too!

I've heard the same rave comments about the RnP so we plan to register for that.
