I don't think so! I wish we had gotten married a bit earlier so there was more time for photos, but I really enjoyed getting married on the 4th. at 4. lol. It is whenever YOU want to get married!
This go around we are doing 2:00pm for ceremony The furthest guest is only an 1hr and 15 minutes away So they have time for lunch before coming.
2:30pm DJ starts while Appetizers and punch are served and family photos are taken.
High Tea should start by 3:30pm Cake by 4:30
Dancing starts at 4pm
Everything is over by 6:00pm
Then the fun starts We are having an after party with our friends who will be jamming we will also be doing clean up during this time.
Nope! I got married at 1. On Saturdays in our church weddings have to be before 4:30 mass. I wanted to have it at 2, but our wedding was also one week after the clocks changed and it started to get dark around 4. So it was a race for sunlight and pictures!
At first I was worried about our guests, but they all figured it out. Cocktail hour started at 5:30 and it gave people a chance to check-in and whatnot.
We got married pretty late, at 5:00pm!
My ceremony started at 3:30pm
2:00 pm is not to early, my sister-in-law got married at that time. Our time was at 4:00!
We got married at 2pm, and to us it was the perfect time.
I think two is a perfect time! We got married at 4 o'clock.
We got married at 3 o'clock. : )
I don't think 2 o'clock is too early at all!
Ha, we're night owls and are getting married at 8 p.m. (I wanted to get married at dusk)
We got married at 4 pm.
We got married at 2:30. I don't think 2 is too early at all
Our's is at 6 o'clock..
2 o'clock sounds fine!!
Any time is fine!!! Ours was at 5pm
Sounds like a good time to me, we are getting married at noon.
We got married at 6:00 PM. As a wedding guest, I LOVE early weddings, so I say go for it!
Ours was scheduled for 1 but ran late because the flowers didn't arrive until the last minute. So I think it was more like 1:15 or 1:20. The dancing was supposed to last until 6 but my parents left early due to the snow so we were done before 5:30. My one regret - I wanted snow but it also kept people away. Having 4 people leave early was a big chunk out of our guests so we did our departure early too. (I wanted to dance more for all the work I put into our play list!)
Mine is set for 3:30. Timing to me depends on location, weather, ect. I do hear a lot of people say its odd to be partying mid day. I kinda thought about it too. But since my location is almost 2 hrs from my house mid day is better. Whatever works best for you. Its your big day!
I am getting married on a Friday evening - so people who are local have time. 6:00 pm ceremony, 7p-12a reception
I am thinking around 5 but we may move it to 4:00.
