What type of weather are you expecting?

What weather are you planning/hoping for on the wedding day. What is your worst case scenario and what is your best?

The average temp in Jan is high in the 60s and low in the 40s. Since the wedding is in at 2 and reception should be over about 8, I am anticipating for something around mid 50s for the pics, but I would really love 60s-70.

My realistic best case scenario would be sunny and 65. However, worst case would be cold and rainy :(   I am really hoping the rain holds off, as our guests have to walk outside from chapel to the reception.

Our wedding is on the "wetter" side of the island, and January tends to be one of our wetter months.  I honestly have no idea what kind of weather we'll have.  The only outdoor part of our wedding is our cocktail hour, and we've already rented a tent for that.  Hopefully it doesn't rain sideways and into the tent..

Weather in Minnesota in January is pretty standard...cold.  Historically, my wedding week is the coldest of the year (boohoo).  By then, we are sure to have a good amount of snow on the ground, but it is not unheard of for it to be a brown winter.

I am hoping we get dumped on with snow on Wednesday or Thursday of the wedding week so everything is fresh, and I wouldn't mind if the sun made a showing too.

I want it to snow on our wedding day but I don't want a bad snow. We have people coming from out of town so i'm hoping it won't be too bad. I live in northern indiana and we usually get a lot of snow here. Hopefully we have a good amount of snow on the ground and light snow falling but all the roads are clear. :) That is my hope. lol

Hopefully we'll get fresh snow on New Years Eve or early on New Year's day- roads will be clear by Saturday morning, but everything will look fresh.  It usually is 25-30 degrees for the high around that time of the winter.  My sister's wedding day (Dec 30, 2006) was 45 degrees with greenish grass so I can only hope.  The next year they had over a foot of snow on the ground.

I am still hoping for snow.  NO slush or rain though.  We are walking from our ceremony to the reception.

It is up in the air. Currently Jersey has been experiencing weird weather. We had a day of 62 yesterday and high 40's the other. Usually by now it is and stays in the mid to low 40's. So January will be interesting. I am hoping for a light dusting though.
