What will you do if it rains???

I personally plan on buying umbrella's a week before the ceremony if the forecast says there will be rain and perhaps shortening the vows, unless it like thunder storms. Would any of you continue the ceremony outdoors if it rains?

We will have a really nice tent placed, with sides if we get sideways rain. Which is usual for Oregon

If it just sprinkles, our plans won't change.  Well, we'll get a nice big pretty umbrella to use, but other than that, nothing changes.  Our outdoor chapel has a roof anyway.

But if it pours....or if it pours the day before and makes everything muddy, we have a separate building on the property rented as our backup plan.  The building is gorgeous...very rustic...but not air conditioned, so not ideal for a June wedding.  It'll be better than getting rained on, though.

If it rains next week and it has been raining for the past few weeks (the joys of living in tropical Australia). We'll have to have our photography before the wedding, the ceremony will be at an undercovered area just outside our reception venue and then we'll start the reception.

I don't know any other way around it, if it rains, there's just no where in Mackay (my town) that can host a wedding ceremony indoors other than one of the churches.

We have a beach site with a building included and are planning on bringing a tent/cabana with sides as well, and the location is in the sun belt of Washington (sun and washington?!?!) in early September, so we should be ok.

If it rains our ceremony will be held inside our venue, in their gorgeous main room.  Mostly I'm going to pray that it doesn't rain!  I want to be outside, looking at the ocean, when we say our vows.

If it rains our venue will move the ceremony to inside, where the reception is to be held.  I would rather it now rain though... it is after all Spring :)

If it rains, oh well :)  We are still having it outside.

If it's POURING.. Or lightening, we'll HAVE to have it inside, and we'll just have it in our reception hall.  And have everyone seated at their tables.

I'm praying that it doesn't rain :)

Even though I would like a rainbow :)

Our plan B was to have the ceremony in the reception space. The venue is able to do rows of chairs then set up all the dinner tables after the ceremony. Thankfully the weather held out so we were fine outside!

If it rains, we're going to deal with it. I'll put in our invites and it's on our website that people should bring umbrellas if it's supposed to rain because there will be no cover.

We had a back-up.  At the same venue there was an indoor chapel.  I'm sooo glad it didn't rain though bc the chapel isn't NEARLY as pretty as the garden.  I was so stressed the whole week before bc it rained every single day leading up to the wedding!

Gosh I'm HOPING it doesn't rain, but with Minnesota weather you never know...  If it does rain and/or things are muddy, we will get married in my grandfathers barn...where we are having the reception and dance.  The good news is, it's not a checkered handkerchief and hay bale kind of barn.  They recently re-did it and it looks a lot nicer than most of the reception halls we had looked at.

We watched the forecast and it said sunny, if it would've predicted rain we were going to rent a large event tent (very expensive but our ceremony and reception were outside). We got lucky
