When do cravings really start?

Lately, I have been having a little nausea in the morning, so I can't bring myself to eat anything but my stomach is japping me with hunger pains.  It's an awful feeling.  I'm better by the afternoon so I munch on EVERYTHING to make my stomach happy.  But I can't tell if it's the pregnancy or if I'm subconsciously using the pregnancy as an excuse to be a fattie.  When do you start having cravings?

I didn't really...LOTS of nausea...so when something struck me...I ate it...I still and always have been drinking coffee...and this far have only gained 2lbs at almost 17 weeks...food is very challenging for me still...but nausea is finally relenting a little.

I didn't really have any either, I kinda went through phases of things for a week or 2.
And like Jackie I ate whatever sounded good - I was sick until around 16 weeks!!!

Try and eat something first thing, the more empty your tummy is the worse the m/s will be. I'm not a big breakfast either and I'm not good at waking up and eating right away - try Carnation Instant Breakfast it helped me a ton!

Weeks 4-6 everything sounded good and I was always hungry, 6w2d to now (10w4d) very little sounds good. If anything sounds the slightest bit appetizing I eat it. To eat dinner it normally takes me at least an hour because my appetite is nonexistent.

I have yet to have any food cravings at 20 weeks and 4 days, but I also never had any with my first born.  In the beginning I had a lot of nausea and ate when I can, what I wanted. I have never been a person to eat a lot at once, I have always snacked throughout the day.

Regardless of how much nausea i had in the morning, I always had a glass of OJ with my prenatal pill.

I still have not had any cravings at all :( I am a bit dissapointed to be completely honest. I was looking forward to crave something crazy like pickles and jam... Lol. Hoped for some funny memories and stories to tell. Lately I have been drinking milk (something I never, ever did before) when I don't feel like eating, but know I should. It no longer grosses me out like it did before pregnancy.... Not really a craving, but still.
I also never got the slighest bit of morning sickness or heartburn. So I guess my body just skipped all that stuff. Ohh and I am 29 weeks by the way :)

Ditto Olga, I used to hate milk but for some reason I willing seek it out if I'm a little hungry. And it doesn't gross me out like it used to.

I think it might be that our bodies need the extra calcium. I also eat lots of yogurt ( something I always did, so nothing new there I guess) :) That makes a good snack.

I drank TONS of milk when I was pregnant, and loved little cheery tomatoes too.

I had 1 weekend where I couldn't get enough sweet stuff - I got through a dozen Krispy Kremes and an entire sheet cake in 3 days!! FI tried to take it away from me....and learnt very quickly not to come near me! Lol

Luckily that one only lasted for that weekend - I can't imagine how big I would have been if that had continued, I was already the size of a house!

I am 7w3d today and have m/s like it's no ones business.  I am pretty much eating every 3 hours to keep it at bay as best I can and I want any and everything salty.  Then the random donut gets tossed in haha.
