When time seems to be running out...

Back a year ago I would have said, "there's lots of time to get things done". Now that the wedding is less than a month and half away, it seems like time is running out fast and on full speed forward!

It feels like we are never going to get everything done in time. Am I the only person who feels like this??

Looking for ideas on time management and what works to get everything done before our big day.

I agree with JM, to do lists are a life saver. I also listen to a lot of music to keep me focused, I make playlists for certain tasks. Pandora rocks, but I'm a bit of a nerd.

I know exactly what you mean. My bridesmaids were actually desperate to get involved, and totally meant it when they said "We're here to help". So I found that handing over even just a few smallish tasks to them, (like replying to a couple of emails, phoning up the dress company to check when the alterations would be finished and finding me a bridal makeup artist) really took a load off my shoulders. So I the best advice I could give would be never be afraid to ask for help!

Kuppy, I use Pandora during working out and yes it is great way to help focus - never thought about using it to focus for wedding plans - great idea! Thanks

Happy_Bride - I agree that getting bridesmaids to help is a great idea - however, my fiancee is the type of person to take it all on herself! LOL so something I will suggest to her!

jmbuss - we have one checklist, and have even referred to it a few times LOL, just need to do a better job USING it!

Yes, I agree with you.  I'm 5 days away and I have been up at 5 or 6 every morning.  I can't sleep well since there is so much to do.  I have an amazing support system and I have been relying on them HEAVILY.  They are happy to contribute and I don't know what I would do without them.

I should have already signed off but I just had to come peek in on my ladies this morning before I did.

Hang in there and try to utilize every moment you can to take care of small details and enlist help with the big one's.

...and yes LISTS, are a huge life saver.  Have a notepad or something to write on so as soon as you think of it WRITE IT DOWN! I can't tell you how many times I was going to write something down and then forgot 10 seconds later because I was thinking of 15 other details.

Good luck! Your wedding will be beautiful.
